★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely old couple that opened a shop in the Chinatown Complex, can be found on level 1. They sell wedding tea cups, decorations for Chinese New Year and wedding events. Very reasonably priced, would strongly recommend if you want the complete set of wedding stuff. And they are so sweet and nice - especially the aunty chen!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My fiance and I visited to purchase our GDL items. We passed by a more prominent store but the lady had to refer to some Google answer for our queries. Then we decided to visit this shop as my Mum mentioned there was an article about it. Auntie was really friendly and chatty. She speaks both Mandarin and English. She shared with us the various traditions of the dialect groups and left it up to us to decide what we want to purchase. She's like a walking encyclopaedia! She even spoke to my Mum over the phone and addressed the questions my Mum had. Highly recommend!

My fiancée was not feeling well and they offered their seat for her and even offer her some warm water,
Necessary items were recommended and will ask if we would want to get it or not, no pushy feeling was felt, they even say only if you feel like buying then buy, cos its the new generation no need to follow the old customs to the dot. Would highly recommend to check this place out !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super friendly elderly couple who provided excellent advice. Instead of hard selling us, they wanted us to buy only if we require them, for practicality. Also, their items are the most affordable, more so if you were to compare to some commercial entities in shopping malls. Definitely a must-visit shop for Guo Da Li and other Chinese wedding rituals!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super pleasant experience purchasing from this store. Bought my Guo Da Li items from here and were very happy with them. The items are in good condition and reasonably priced. Bought them in ala carte which were much cheaper than the packages other stores offered (items are better quality too). The couple who runs the store are very friendly and helpful. They only sell you what you need and advice you to only get the necessary. They are also knowledgeable in the customary processes of GDL to An Chuang to Shang Tou and to the actual wedding day. Recommend this store 100%!
