Gravy is not as tasty and the fried fish is a bit salty. Stewed pork and fried wanton are OK. Overall can't match the best.

This has to be one of the most underrated lor mee around. For 3.50 the gravy and ingredients were flavourful. No complains for a good bowl of lor mee.

Chance upon this stall, didn’t know that its actually quite a good bowl of lor mee. Love the fried fish fritter included and braised meat slices are also tender & flavourful.

It was very tasty and you do not need to add an ingredient like vinegar or pepper. For sure Japanese loves this taste.

Paid $3.50 for a bowl of lor mee. The gravy was thick and tasty. The lor bak was full of flavour. However, the fried stuff were a bit hard. They are open from 5am to 2pm and close on 初一十五. There was no queue so service was fast. The stall is situated at #01-02.

Whampoa - if you are at Whampoa Market on a weekend and you are looking for Lor Mee, please note that the stall in the middle opens only at 8am. That one is very very good! Now if you cannot wait, the other stall right next to the carpark is also very good. When I first heard about this stall from a makan kaki’s Facebook friend, I was quite skeptical. So when I was there with my 2 brothers, we decided to try this out. It was surprisingly good! Good enough for me to make another visit after a few weeks. The pork belly is also yummy but not as heavenly as the other stall. But this is like the case of Kallang Airport, you go there to eat the famous stall but realised that there is another GEM there! Another case where my theory of whenever a very tasty food stall is around, it’s rival who has been in business all this while, can never be lousy! Quite often, they are equally good, just less famous. After all, you may not like what I like. Friendly competition!!

This is the another stall that sells lor mee along the same stretch as the popular stall right at the end. I quickly went to order since there wasn't a queue. I noticed that they are probably closing before there wasn't much items left on the shelf. the traditional lor mee was already sold out. I ordered item no. 2 on the signboard which was SGD$3.50 onwards. Unlike the traditional one, the topping for my bowl of noodle was different. The bowl of lor mee came with fried meatball, wanton and fish fillet. Sauce is not bad, has a herby aftertaste and has a thick consistency. The chill is quite spicy, overall all component of the dish blended quite well.

Still love the lor mee. To me, this is still the best lor mee after eating so many others. The fried fish, fried dumpling and meat ball is hand made. The gravy is thick snd flavourful. The braised pork also well marinated. Been eating for years and still craving. The chilli is very spicy. Must try for lor mee lover. Always satisfied!
