β β β β β Came here 1st time for CNY dinner. When I saw the signature ηͺθιΈ‘ζ±€ then I realised they were at kallang basin last time. Still as good and thick. Roast duck and sio Bak were good too.

Definitely need to try their abalone shark-fin soup ! U can try it with the coriander and beansprouts they provide! Extra flavour to try!
SALTED EGG BIG PRAWN SUPERB! Prawn is big and juicy cover with creamy aroma salted egg batter is boom!
STEAMED COD FISH! One word fresh !
Crab meat noodle >< i must honestly to say ,quite normal !
Extra tip: their chili is damm tasty and spicy!

β β β β β Recommended by a friend. Didn't expect it to be such a beautiful place with stylish chinoserie decor since it's located in a somewhat industrial area. Can definitely host a Chinese wedding dinner there. Food was also amazing. We ordered the $59 per pax set, which included very generous portions n big pieces of sharksfin. Set also included salted egg prawns, codfish, etc. Food quality was top-notch. Will be back.

β β β β β The place looks impressive even before you step in, its really sort of out of place located in a really old building. I wouldnt comment much bout the kid friendliness, it does seem friendly but the kid I am with absolutely hates the place and started wailing since we got there and therefore the pictures werent really complete. Had to step out of the place to pacify the baby. I still managed to try all the dishes thanks to the nice hubby who saved me some food. My personal favourite which is absolutely opposite of everyone was the olive rice, i love olive and its probably biased. I didnt like their ?dish- pig stomach with chicken, it was way too porky for me, i couldnt stand it but everyone esle loved it so go ahead try it for yourself. Other dishes were alright so overall still liked it but didnt love it.

β β β β β Nice interior. the fried pork on ice has too much flour. Yam paste should have coconut gravy instead of syrup. Staff should be more attentive to replace plates and refill tea. We had to walk over twice to ask for refill. ε ζ²Ήγ

β β β β β Came here for lunch. Good that they have free corkage. Ordered the meat platter, salt and pepper prawns (5 pieces), 2 soup of the day and one veg with 2 rice. Total bill is $123. Food is nice and restaurant is rather empty on a weekday. Good service too.

β β β β β A good Chinese restaurant located in an industrial area. The restaurant serves food from a mixed of Chinese dialect. Recommended dishes includes lotus leaf rice with promfet, crispy fried bee hoon, pig stomach soup (would prefer it to be a little more peppery but the stomach was soft and well cooked, soup was flavourful). The roasted duck and chicken was reasonably well done with crispy skin, fried green dragon vegetables with crispy Yam strips was good too. Too many many items on menu were out. The Yam paste average only.

β β β β β Get your lobster porridge fix right here. Between wan he Lou and yummy palace, I prefer this place by a mile due to:
1. The porridge
2. The location (parking friendly)
3. The menu assortment (so much variety) the herbal roast duck is good too
4. The other dishes rock too
Of course, prices are not cheap but the amount of lobster in every pot is really substantial.
I have visited them since they were located at MacPherson and when they were called Yummy Recipes. No deterioration in quality was evident since the move to Defu hence I am pleasantly surprised.
Am raring to try their other dishes if I can resist not ordering the porridge.
