★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another delicious Wantan Mee find in the Kallang area. The portion ($4.50) here were generous and service very personal and friendly. The noodles are springy and well seasoned with a good chili sauce. Fried wantons are delightful.
Char siew slices are drier and the only reason to mark it down.

This was the typical black sauce Malaysian styled wanton mee, a must try for those who missed the taste of Malaysian food. Each strand of noodle is coated with luscious black sauce and the fried wantons are freshly fried on the spot. Char siew are those generic thin slices found in most wanton mee stall but the soup was very nice, those typical old school ikan bilis broth. Keep this in mind if you are in the upper boon keng area next time . ?
