โ โ โ โ โ Drove past a few times and noticed the queues, decided we had to try this place. The roast pork skin was very crispy, but the meat was somewhat dry and hard, perhaps my serving had little fat layers. The char siew was smoky, but again the meat was hard and tasted almost unseasoned, without a burnt sugar outer crust (baseline expectation). The roast duck was pretty standard.
Lots of sparrows pecking on uncleared plates around the tables. The place is pretty warm at lunch time, due to the low canvas awning, cooking and poor air circulation. It would be good to order for take away, if one is returning to office after lunch, or risk smelling like kitchen exhaust with perspiration-induced body odour.

โ โ โ โ โ Been visiting since I discovered it years ago. The roasted meats are as delicious as ever,while the noodles are a perfect QQ(al-dente)! $5 is a steal for the quality and quantity?

โ โ โ โ โ I don't get why the review ratings are so high. It's not the worst roast meat shop but I wouldn't come back and queue for it again.
The theme of the meats is DRY. Perhaps I should have ordered 50-50 fats on the meats, because i had cuts of dry, lean and disappointing meats.
The roasted pork had a thin and flat skin that had lesser crunch that I would have liked.
Exception for the duck. The roasted duck was good. But its not worth the massive lines that spans for at least half an hour (visited on a Sunday ~11am)

โ โ โ โ โ Definitely one of the best roast stall in SG. Their charsiew is burnt and yet tender. The roast duck is good as I only eat breast meat..... It's not too dry, unlike many stalls.
The only downside - the coffeeshop is really dirty and ventilation is horrible.

โ โ โ โ โ The meat portion is big. all the meat like Char Siew, Roasted pork n duck are nice. Best you order 2types of meat only cost $5.50 ... noodles or rice oso nice. Recommended.

โ โ โ โ โ Got the wanton noodle (came with pork) and added roast duck. Pretty tasty. I liked the pork better than the duck. Total was $5.50 and it was a decent sized snack for two ppl to share
The wanton soup was too salty (and I love salt). The wantons itself were bland though.

โ โ โ โ โ Discovered this roosted duck and pork stall by accident . Never know that it is famous! The roosted pork (chia Siew and Shฤo rรฒu) is top rated. The queue for the food is LONG, believe me itโs long but everyone will patiently wait in the line. After a 30 minutes wait I can finally taste the food. Really the chia Siew and shaped rou is really really good. The meat is tender and fresh. I will surely revisit the stall.
