The food was so good, the custard sweet potato is a must try! The fried prawn dumpling with Mayo and salted egg bun were good as well. Service was great too, will come back again.

A honest review based on my experience; If you have doubt - do check other low reviews. You won’t regret it, but you may want to try this bad experience, so you can appreciate other restaurants. Very terrible service and worst experience ever. Lady boss will pressure you to order the drink before you are seated; and give very sarcastic comment when you order food. They can ignore the user queuing at the front; allow others to jump queue. Food is below average and salty. Do think twice before visiting, and the lady boss is very rude. Shame on them for such behaviour.

Great dim sum. Fresh ingredients. Fried beef hor fun is the best, with wok hei and not overly oily, easy on the soy sauce. The beef slices are just nice and tender, without being overwhelmed by the taste of the tenderiser.

I like the restaurant because it looks nostalgic and the food cooked felt like home styled. Hub loves it saying their fried rice is good. All the staff are like our family uncle and auntie. Recommend if you like the old house authentic feel kind of restaurant.

EDIT: [ Decided to try the Bistro outlet for dim sum after a pleasant dinner at the Restaurant side. Service at the Bistro is horrible. When I told them I had a reservation, the elderly lady who looked like the boss told me to go to the Restaurant side. Seeing that it is less crowded at the Bistro, we asked if we could sit here instead. She shouted that she doesn’t have a table big enough for us (4 pax inc 1 infant). A lot of shouting from her. Somehow we still stayed on. I was looking forward to try their dim sum. I asked her what drinks they have, as it’s not listed in the menu. “Chinese tea, sure have!” She shouted rudely again. The disparity in service between the Bistro and Restaurant is really great. It is CNY Day 6, and it was unpleasant to put up with such behavior. Not a single staff here greeted or acknowledged us. As I was pushing my stroller, a male staff even shoved his way through ???? Food is regrettably not bad. But the thought of seeing the lady boss again may deter future visits. ] - - A homely old-school restaurant. Do note that dim sum is served only at their Bistro next door, which is also open until 10pm. Their cordyceps with abalone soup was really flavorful. We enjoyed the fried mushroom, pork chop, fried rice with salted fish and diced chicken, and bean curd skin stuffed prawn very much. The chilli they serve is really tasty and reminds me of the chilli typically served with chicken rice. For dessert, the staff recommended fried chocolate ice cream which my son liked very much. It wasn’t crowded at all.. in fact we were the last table by 8pm on a Sunday evening. The staff told us that they used to host mainly corporate dinners and large family gatherings, which covid measures do not allow for nowadays.

arrived slightly after 10am on a Sat and already a number of tables occupied but not crowded (the unit closer to entrance of car park). Besides the usual dim sum suspects, the sweet potato custard balls and truffle mushroom buns were delectable. Good food, reasonable price.

Came here for weekend dinner and pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The steam fish I though is overcooked but I enjoyed the pork trotter and the fried egg plant. The ginger fried beef is very good.

Felt welcomed by the Manager and was closely attended by a smiling service staff. It's a comfortable outlet to sip Chinese tea, sit in, relax and savour popular dim sum items hot from the steamers plus other hot dishes. Save for the safe entry and mask up requirement, all felt like pre-endemic days.
