Zone X - Changi Airport

It may be the only video game arcade at Changi airport, but the games are outdated and it's a little bit cramped inside. It is a small place so they may have tried to fit a lot of games inside. At the entrance, there are more games for small kids. When you go inside to the left, there are several racing games. My only reason for playing here is because they have an Ironman pinball game, and pinball games are rare these days. If you really want more options, I suggest visiting other video game places like Timezone, otherwise, if you just want to play some games to spend time and happen to be at the airport feel free to visit.

Decent size arcade at airport

Once a forerunner of arcade companies in par with TimeZone, they seem to have lost track of their target audience & have not done any market research in awhile, which resulted in their company doing badly and multiple outlets closing down one after another due to the lack of business. Making a comparison between other arcade companies such as TimeZone & Star Factory, they have machines that appeal to the younger generation, such as rhythm games, puzzle games, shooter games, traditional carnival games & so much more. There is a lack of diversity in the arcade machines they provide in their EastPoint outlet where it contains only 3 forms of games (table fishing, traditional carnival games & pokemon tretta) that target children <12 years old & probably the elderly generation. On the other hand, their Changi Airport T3 outlet has much more variety to include those that I mentioned previously, but while those are present, many of them are not calibrated properly & some are in a near-dysfunctional state and may not be played properly. On their website, accumulation of points are used to redeem home appliances, many of which do not attract the younger generations to patronise their outlets. Their outlets are also found in places with low foot traffic, where in both outlets, another arcade company Star Factory is dominating the market as the next nearest arcade outlet at Century Square & SingPost with regards to their upcoming outlet at Paya Lebar. Their Changi Airport T3 outlet requires potential customers to travel all the way to the east of Singapore, which they would not considering that there is another arcade outlet at Century Square as mentioned earlier. This company repeatedly makes the same marketing errors, yet they do not learn from their mistakes, nor attempt to understand where they may do better. Their 40+ years of experiences have taught them nothing as stated in their website has been for naught.

I love this outlet more than plq because there are more games suitable for my 4yo boy as compared to plq. And also the Chinese long black hair lady with specs is friendly, always makes me feel welcome whenever I bring my son there. Definitely recommend to bring preschoolers for their games there.

Space is quite confined and getting crowded esp weekend evenings and kids screaming inside makes the place too noisy

Best place to spend time before departure and after arrival. The male staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent service. I love the pearl fishery. Would come here again.

they actually have Taiko No Tatsujin (Nijiiro Version) and old version of it. (2001 or 2009 idk)
