One of the worst place to buy durians from. Owner said everything is sweet and ripe, but when he opened the durians, some were far from ripe. Tried 2 durians, both were not ripe. Don't come here for durians. Considering the quality, the price is expensive.

Durian price for 1KG is $15. The durian size not so big. Endup around 1.5KG total $25. The durian was nice, but not many inside. Not many option or durian variety in this stall. However, the durian taste great!

Usually buy from ah seng, or other store from GM or clementi. Happened to walk passed this shop. Paid 50 plus for very very bad quality durian, advertised as MSW, but no taste at all, like no durian taste as all. Went to ask then owner said it is not MSW, it is cat king durian.???? Then why put a sign say MSW???? Plus, I have never heard of cat King durian, it kinda taste more like very watery version of D24. One star for the owner open another tiny durian to compensate which also doesn't taste like MSW. But seriously, 50 plus for this quality is totally not worth it. Didn't want to make a fuss as tourism business is bad, they didnt get other customer also. This shop is probably more for newbie tourist who never had durian before, because it is sooooo mild that I don't know what I was eating. Yes, everyone had different taste, but please be honest and don't LIE just to get some sales. Any durian loving locals can tell the durian sold here are all the poor quality ones.

Rich creamy old tree MSW! The seeds are so flat and tiny, all engulfed in rich, thick durian flesh. Bitter sweet taste. Plus point, a cooling comfortable environment to enjoy freshly opened durians.

Worst durian experience ever. The owner insisted it’s the best quality MSW but 2/5 of the durian is empty. The taste is no way like MSW but plain and rough. In the end he charged us 2kg price for a durian which was previously weighted only 1.3kg. And raged and started to curse us when we refused to pay for extra. (We weighted the durian shell and it’s only 1kg.. how does it make sense to gain 1kg meat out of it…) Be really aware of the trap and harassment.

It was a very unpleasant experience to be intimidated by the owner. Some durians didn’t have prices on it. And the owner insisted that his durians were indeed MSW top grade durians. Two durians he opened werent good and he insisted for us to pay for it. This was when things got really hostile. Patronize at your own risk.

In short, I would not recommend, especially for the undiscerning consumer. This is a typical durian stall to avoid. As at 22 Jun 2022, was verbally quoted S$22/kg Black Gold (of decent size). Unsure of the seller’s ethics, I decided to just go for the β€œPrawn King (θ™ΎηŽ‹)” at $10 each (just to gauge their quality and seller’s ethics) and Uncle had to choose one which quite obviously had been left overnight from the previous day. Colour was uneven and could see it has the hard and dry texture commonly termed as tapioca (η•ͺθ–―). He then offered a (10%) discount of $2 if we chose another one durian of the same price ($10). Chose the mini Black gold priced at $10 each to try out the quality. He could only promise about seeds from each of the mini black gold but v β€œkindly” selected one which would promise a couple more seeds, despite it being also being an overnight durian- obvious from the dry and brown stem which was about to detach from the spiky body below. Fortunately taste was acceptable without sour or funky tasting seeds, only slightly watery for the Prawn King. Fedback to uncle about the tapioca seeds just to see his reaction and he couldn’t be bothered. Glad that total damage had been controlled at only $18. If he had been more ethical to pick the newly arrived/ fresh ones or more generous to replace the lousier ones I would definitely return to get the premium ones. For now, I’m better off spending my money on other more reliable durian sellers who can guarantee my satisfaction.
