★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The good - fresh deep fried fish and the portion was good for $3. Ample minced garlic as well. Queue was okay and took 10 minutes to get the dish.
The bad - the sauce was bland, and there was no pork, which is a signature of the dish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a kid I never ate this lor mee although my parents would order it for themselves as I hate yellow noodles, until one day I realised I can ask for kway teow and this became my go-to dish at Round Market. The combination of their mild tasting braised sauce mixed with garlic, chilli and vinegar is just super addictive and great for picky eaters like me who don’t like weird herbal scents/spices. Also love the fried fish + the service is always very fast and consistent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reasonable price n good to my liking... Dry prawn noodles at 50cents more... Think if the "younger" uncle cook will be better than the "older uncle"... "Older uncle" seem to get the noodles over cooked...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in Tampines Round Market, this stall serves one of the better Fish Nugget Lor Mee. Their fish nuggets are very crispy even after soaking in the braised sauce. Good portion of noodles given as well, and it also comes with braised egg, pork belly and fish cakes. Very appetising and the braised sauce isn't starchy as well. A definitely must try in this Market.
