โ โ โ โ โ It becomes one of my favorite places recently. The food is super nice, authentic and the price is really reasonable. The staff here is friendly as well. The Matcha latte and Smashed Chimken with rice are recommended! โฅ๏ธ

โ โ โ โ โ Really cheap local coffee at just a dollar, and their ayam geprek tasted just like what I had in Indonesia. Spicyness is customizable and thereโs also a non-spicy option which makes it an inclusive place.
They also have ice cream if youโd like to cleanse your palate with some dessert.
Quite a poor ordering / queue system though, so not recommended for big groups or if your party is a group of kancheong spiders.

โ โ โ โ โ Located just a few minutes away from Clarke Quay MRT Station, @fangkocoffee is quite a cosy cafe to chill and enjoy some coffee and Indonesian food.
What I tried,
Spicy Smashed Chimken Burger.
To me the star will be this. I love I get to customise my own spice level from level 1 to 12 and choice of breast or thigh. The crunch from the smashed chicken paired with the spiciness from the chilli was soooo SHIOK? Even at level 3, it packs a fiery punch and with the fluffy bun which makes every bite so satisfying.
I also tried their finger foods
Sweet Spicy Fingers.
Come in 3 Pcs crispy chicken ๏ฌngers with sweet & spicy sauce.
Chicken Fingers come in 3 Pcs crispy chicken ๏ฌngers with choice of spicy or non spicy. I top up $1 for spicy option which is basically just chilli flakes powder on top.
While both chickens are fried to crispy crunchy perfection. I felt the meat a bit on drier side and the meat itself was quite bland on its own. The Sweet Spicy Fingers scores better here as the sauce give some moisture to the meat.
As for the drink, I got
Avocado Coffee.
This is another star. The creamy avocado with the bitter coffee mixed together, gives a kick to the drink.
Gula Melaka Kopi.
I kinda like it but I don't really taste much gula melaka in it. It feel like Flat White? If you don't tell me this is what coffee I would have assume is flat white but nevertheless I still enjoy the aroma taste and glad that it wasn't sweet.
Overall I think is worth a one time experience. Would I go back again, I'm not so sure.

โ โ โ โ โ Tried the following items:
- Fangkoโs Smash Chimken (recommended, $7): I enjoyed the smashed fried chicken fillet which was marinated with (very spicy) chilli. It comes in spiciness levels from 0-12 - probably best to go for levels 0-1 if you can't really take chilli!
- Signature blue pea coconut rice (recommended, usually served with Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah which is $10): it was very fragrant.
- 20HK Burger ($9): it was massive, but the chicken breast was slightly dry, otherwise the burger was alright.
- Truffle Fries ($6): they were crisp and fragrant with truffle aroma.
- Lychee tea ($2.80): this was alright.
- Pure Espresso (recommended, $4.50): we enjoyed this - while it was strong, it was tasty with milk and gula melaka.
Conveniently located in the heart of town, with generous portions, reasonable prices and delicious food. Recommended for a casual meal with family and friends!

โ โ โ โ โ First ate at Fangko during the Open House for the collaboration with local florist Lavee. Little did we know, the smashed chicken we had that very day turned out to be an obsession that got us hooked, really badly. It was to the point, owners could remember my exact order as I walk towards the cashier hahaha!
Restaurant is really generous with the chicken. Spice levels range from 0 to 12, and as someone who loves and is able to take spicy food, level 4 got me sweating but didn't get me stopping as I continue to put spoonfuls of delicious chicken in my mouth. It really really is super yummy.
Their in-house bottled coffee is really great too, as well as the avocado shake. Do drop by earlier as they run out earlier than their opening hours, especially on busy days. Love this place!

โ โ โ โ โ You guys must be wondering why I rated Odette 4 and Fangko 5, well Its not that Odette is lower than Fangko as I am rating them by category. To me Fangko is a solid 5 cause of the service and food. I first chanced upon them through a delivery app and now I am hooked. I was surprise by their extensive menu serving a variety of food and most importantly coffee.
Firstly the food, I have now been here numerious times as I can't get enough of the Indomee Smash chimken (not a typo). I love spice and I've tried only up to level 5, which is just right for me. I would like to try their highest level one day which is 12. I am not going into detail but I want to say if you love your indo mee, this is as AUTHENTIC as it can get.
Now the drinks part. If you love bitter sweet try their Gula Melaka Latte, I HIGHLY recommend it, it hits you with sweetness then the bitter coffee after taste follows. I have to many to list here but one to start.
Oh the staff/owner behind the counter is super friendly and will definitely recommend you anything you fancy.
Psst: They bake their own banana bread, wash it down with coffee and thank me later. I highly highly recommend this place to anyone.

โ โ โ โ โ Tried Fangko for breakfast and it was a great experience! Scrambled eggs were cooked very well -- just the right amount of creaminess and consistency. Bacon is juicy yet crispy. Black coffee was just OK. The menu is expansive so will probably go back to try other dishes!
