Saw rave reviews on Facebook. Turns out subpar. Little wok hei, weak prawn broth, pork lard does not feel fresh, tasted more like white beehoon.

Very flavourful hokkien mee! And nice spicy chili with a kick. I love the lard :) very generous serving of pork belly and squid! Excuse my badly taken picture, I tabao noodles and only got to eat it 2 hours from the time I picked it up, noodles did not turn lumpy or soggy. I can only imagine it tastes even better to eat it at the coffee shop! Got to know the shop from an article online, and only managed to buy it on my third visit cos I got there 730 previously and they were sold out. Will be back!

Have previously patronized them before ... but made my way back to the same stall thinking that it is a 'new' one by the name of 'San Shu Gong' - only to find that the main signboard is 'JTM' with the 'San Shu Gong' brand now pasted in front (or maybe I never noticed the 1st few times). Nevertheless, I think it's decent and the pork lard seems like the main highlight. Really applaud the efforts from the young generation taking over the trade - and hope to see them improve on their recipe and technique. Keep it up! and go PK with 'YouFu Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodle' @ Golden Mile :)

Not sure why so popular, its straight up bad. Worst thing is the stale fried lard that is not crispy, it stinks and reeks like week-old oil. Noodle is overcooked not much of ingredients for the price. Hopefully everyone who tries it first time know the quality is bad...

Saw it on TV, can ask for it to be cooked in dry or wet version? Hence, I requested for wet with no meat. The chilli was awesome and the HKM was flavourful. However, less 20% salt would made the dish perfect. Will come back again

I actually enjoyed this hokkien mee very much, despite the relatively bland, unassuming, paler color shade first impression. Eyes lit up with the first mouthful, sans calamansi and chilli as with usual practice. Slight notes of wok hei. Beautiful stock. Noodle not a mushy mess. Perfectly poached prawns, still springy in the middle. I like! I will skip on the sambal belacan. It just overwhelms and takes the shine away from the whole plate. Making it one dimensional. HKM must be getting pricier these days. $5 for a small portion is becoming quite a norm. 3 prawns with few strands of sotong. Ouch.
