Food is worth 4 star but with affordable pricing and friendly approachable staff, it earns the 5th star. Place is clean. Don’t let the interestingly brightly neon light decor deter u, the food is actually quite good. Authentic enough to see many Chinese customers. Very generous with the dry chilli ? but the dishes were not too spicy for locals. The malaxiangguo was one of the least oily one we have ever tried. The medium spicy is just perfect. The pork meat fried rice is also worth trying. Kids love it together with the dumplings and xiaolongbao (freshly made, must wait for 20min).

Ordered take away and is so good after 1hr! Sauerkraut grilled fish is so fresh, if u prefer the not very sour type, this is perfect! Was amazed by how delicious the garlic crayfish was, thought they are famous for mala xiang guo and grilled fish.

My husbands rating 5 My rating 5 Food We ordered 地三仙 (potato, capsicum, brinjal) ,辣子鸡 (peppercorn chicken) ,番茄蛋面 (tomato egg noodles) 。 地三仙 5 The taste was good, comparable to the stores in chinatown. However, I do wish to be a little more saucy and oily but the quality of the dish was definitely there! 辣子鸡 5 The taste was definitely there. The seasoning and spice level was good. The spice level I would say is a little higher than normal but still bearable! 番茄蛋面 4.5 Tastes like it should but I do wish for the sauce to be thicker, because it was quite watery, which could not stick to the noodles resulting in semi bland noodles. Service? The basic service was there. Not much to say. Ambience 5 A cool place to hang out. Brightly lit with neon lights and clean space. It gives sort of a hipster china place to chill and relax. Overall, would come back as we stay very near here! Over 100 dishes so can't wait to try them slowly!!

Authentic flavor Chinese food. Slightly price due to GST and Service Charge, not typical of the stalls located in this region. Food does prove a point with its flavor, highly recommended for the 麻辣香锅 and 辣子鸡 Best enjoyed with refreshing Chinese Beer.

I can give this a solid 4 stars. Ingredients were fresh and of good quality. The mala xiang guo is fragrant, its considered a dry type of stir fry and less oily. Overall value for money and is a decent place for chinese food! Update: Came back again after a month. Dont order too much ingredients, it dilutes down the taste. If you order for 4 pax order big spicy 大辣。

Value for money. Seafood fried rice - is decent and quite a big portion. There’s also “wok hey” in the fried rice. Slice beef noodle - don’t be mistaken, it’s the noodle that is sliced, 刀削面. Not the beef that is sliced. Noodle is soft. Little spicy with mala beef taste.

Great place if you are a mala lover. I ordered the following dishes: pig ears (to die for!), beef noodle (loved the beef but not a fan of the noodle), beef lungs + tripe (great!). And I washed it down with beer. It is affordable too. I was here on a weekday night and the place was lively but enjoyable.
