Uncle Richard is amazing and he really go into every single details to let me know what is wrong with the bike… price is very reasonable as well!! It’s not a well known location but definitely worth the effort to come over…. On a side note, I stay in Punggol ?

Richard’s new bicycle shop at Yishun Blk 716 has a good location, easily spotted from the Yishun Ave.3 road. He had serviced and retrofitted my old bicycle to full restoration: the gear was tuned perfectly, & the cycling experience with my β€œnew” bicycle is great. Price charge was reasonable. Richard is a good bicycle β€˜doctor’ who repair, restore or fix all ranges/ brand of bicycle. Hence, I would strongly recommend cyclists to see him to fix your bicycle issues.

Richard shared a rich experience on repairing bicycles since his younger days when in Changi. He is able to repair my rear wheel where I've looking hard to get it done. Many other shops simply telling me to change the whole wheel or straight away reject to repair it. But not Richard, for $38 he replaced both bearings and the inner bent stem, while happily chatting with me on various days day2day topics. Shop needs some tidying up thou.

Never judge a book by it's cover. Don't be put off by the location and "shop front". Located at the Woodlands Autohub, tucked into a small alley, it is clearly not an "atas" set up. It very much has a Sungei Road vibe to it. Why am I sharing this? To manage expectations. What the boss, and Richard is his name, have, are years of experience servicing and repairing bikes. It shows in how deftly he handled the tools and the bike. No hesitancy at all. It's like he knows the bike like the back of his hand. I went down after a call to confirm the availability of tuning services for my Begasso MTB that I bought online. As expected the gear tuning is not up to scratch. Richard quoted me a $55 for that. I'm OK as I have been turned away at other places, or have been advised to just change the whole set up for more $$. It took almost an hour. When I went back to collect, Richard was finishing up and threw in a few extra services, tuning the disc brakes, suspensions and more, all at the same quote. He's friendly, and jovial, and we chatted about day to day stuffs and his experience serving PM Lee when he was in Changi. All in all, a positive experience for me. I think I have finally found a reliable and experienced bike mechanic in Woodlands. He's definitely my go to guy for my bike troubles. Thanks Richard!

Great service while I was in an urgent situation. Had a type puncture while on a bike trip. They have the 349mm inner tube with 60mm presta valve I need which many bike repair shop around Yishun don’t carry.

Brought my foldie in for servicing and to check my brakes due to brake pad wear. Throughout the process, Richard was very friendly and professional. He patiently explained to me what he has checked and fixed on my bike, even told me not to change some accessories since the ones i had are still working fine! He went the extra mile by touching up some parts of my bike with spray paint due to rust. I had a great experience visiting and would highly recommend to check out his shop!

Read the (mostly) good reviews and decided to bring my bike here for a change of cables. NOTE: At this point, everything on the bike was still functional. The boss, Richard, who runs a one-man show, assured me that it was a straightforward procedure that should be easy enough. I was called to the shop after a few days and told that there's been a problem. Turns out there was no cable tension in the right shifter at all, meaning I was no longer able to change gears anymore. Richard said he did not know what the problem was and it could have been that my components were faulty to begin with (I know this is clearly not the case). He haphazardly wrapped my bartape, and facilitated my exit from his shop after collecting payment. I now had a bike that essentially performed worse than before the servicing. Upon inspection by a second, different mechanic, it was discovered that the cables and housings (at the shifter ends) were chewed up and frayed, most likely due to being shoved and twisted into the shifters. As a result, the right shifter cable slot had been ruined. Apart from the rather bespoke fee I paid for his work, I now have to spend on a new set of SRAM Red shifters, Jagwire cables, as well as to pay the new mechanic to do the job I'd paid Richard to do. Reached out several days ago to seek restitution, but no response till now. Unprofessional and unethical business. Wouldn't trust him with a toy bicycle after this incident.
