K	K T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here for a quick lunch and found authentic Phad Thai. Unassumingly spicy like the taste in Thailand, wet but not oily, comes with fresh cut lime. Yummy! The interior decorated with Thai royal photos makes you feel like eating in a Thai local eatery. Haha

Not bad but not the best. 3. Thai milk tea - able to taste the tea and not too sweet. They only accept payment by cash / PayNow / PayLah. #2 April 2022 (a week later)# 1. Braised pork knuckle - goes well with rice 2. Deep fried century egg and basil pork - not overly oily and fried in dry style which I like 3. I finished my meal with good old fashion Fanta green.

A stone's throws away from Somerset MRT, this eatery serves authentic yet affordable Thai dishes like PFC aka Pandan Fried Chicken ($8) and Claypot Tang Hoon with Prawns ($14). Unlike the other places, their version isn’t wrapped in pandan leaves but deep-fried till golden brown crust and has a satisfying crunch Dip it into the sweet chilli sauce and happily munch away! Coated in a sweet umami sauce, the claypot tang hoon comes with medium-sized prawns. Generous portion with nice bite, it has a light peppery taste.

However, when I was back the following week and order the same dish, the taste was not consistent. It taste quite bad and squid was rubbery. With the type of price in cbd area, this is definitely affordable. Hope to see some improvement and the taste could be more consistent.

Lucky for us to get a table real quick slowly after the queue started to form. The portion is big and worth every penny. Everything we ordered were heavenly yummy!! Just hope that the omelet weren't that oily. Other than that nothing to complain. Friendly and helpful servers. Accept Only cash, paynow/paylah. No cards available. Will visit again to try out other dishes for sure. ((:
A	Andrew Ng Zhi Seng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Singapore. The taste and flavor is authentic and appetizing. We order the prawn glass noodles, fried pork and green curry at first. Then the curry is so good and we can’t resist to order one more rice. So good! Will definitely visit again to try everything in the menu.
T	Trotting Horse on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really authentic and good Thai food. I must say taste wise it is better than some Thai restaurants where prices are a lot higher. In fact I think this might be my Thai food hunt rather than Golden Mile. There are many regulars from those living nearby from what I observed. Their Thai white rice is very fragrant and nice. We usually don’t do much rice but ate more than usual. The basil chicken goes very well with the rice. Papaya salad and fried Kang Kong in Thai sauce are really great too. So be prepared to be in line if coming during peak hours.
