Roast pork is the star here. If you mange to catch them at the right time, You will be rewarded with the best sio bak right out from the oven. Wonderfully crisp and well seasoned. Sadly, they will sell out of sio bak very quickly by early afternoon. The char siew and everything else are just about average.

One of the best roast meat I ever had. Gotten a 1 pax 2 meat platter $8 & lava egg $1.50. The meat has a good balance of meat & fats, 70/30 respectively. And I really like how the roast pork skin is not salty and super crispy. Here only because I saw Zermatt’s video & I don’t know if this is the reason for the long queue. It didn’t take too long, I got my food within 10 mins. I must mention that their chilli are really spicy & tangy!

Fully deserving of the high ratings it has gotten so far.. ? By far the best roast pork I have tried, the crunchiness of the skin, coupled with the melt-in-your-mouth meat, it’s absolute perfection ? Duck was rather tender too, despite getting breast meat for both portions. And the plum sauce went really well atop the braise sauce ?? I was slightly skeptical when I saw the queue, which took me an hour pre-lunch crowd - plus the fact that I was given rather fatty meat which I typically don’t eat. Will definitely return to have a go at it with a bigger portion someday! ??

Comfort food, probably one of the best 烧腊 in Singapore that is affordable. Prepare to queue unless you call in to order bulk. The duck, roasted meat and char siew are all good, dunno what to choose usually. Surprisingly the noodles is awesome, even if you order plain, will order it rather than rice.

forever a powerhouse in the roast meat scene, one of the best dealers of most succulent meats. (fried oyster from a stall beside em, good way to attack your heart from all angles since you’re already invested in this anw)

Roast Duck and Char Siew Noodles. I love this image where the meat covers up the noodles. 88 Hong Kong is one of my favourite roast meat stall and I can't pick which is their better offering but if I have space, I would definitely add on an order of Sio Bak (Roast Pork).

The best char siew and roasted pork I've had for a long time. It was worth the travelling to Jalan Besar Stadium area for juicy and crispy roasted delights. Will definitely revisit again ???????

Warning: not for health-conscious eaters! Update: The roasted pork is a definition of perfection. Fatty, crispy, satisfying. Having heard so much about the roasted meat and char siew here, I decided to come here and try out the wanton mee. And I was blown away. Taste: Noodle texture isn't the type I like the most, but the sauce more than makes up for it. I'm guessing lots of lard made the difference. Wanton is tasty. The highlight is definitely the char siew. I'm a lover of fatty char siew, so I requested for it, and the stall owner happily obliged. The result: thick pieces of melt-in-your-mouth char siew that I couldn't stop thinking about. Vegetable served with the wanton mee is naibai(Chinese cabbage), which I love. Portion: For $5, I was definitely satisfied. Thick cuts of char siew, decent portion of naibai. Just 2 pieces of wanton was the only flaw, but it was decent. Wow factor: No doubt, the char siew. I would come back here to have their char siew roasted pork rice next time. Cohesion: One spoonful of noodle, one succulent piece of fatty char siew, one piece of naibai. They MELT IN YOUR MOUTH. Need I say more? I am already planning my next visit for this sinful bowl of wanton mee.
