A1 Medical Clinic

Ridiculous wait time. Came here at 9 plus and had to wait over 1.5hours. the only reason I came here was because polyclinic had a longer wait time. Now , it seems like my polyclinic appointment would have been faster if I had walked in. Chinese clinic attendant told me 2 more. End up got 3 went in before me. Not communicated. Worse than polyclinic queuing omg.

The clinic opens at 9am but doctor came only around 930am. I waited for almost 3 hours then able to see the doctor. I feel they should improve the waiting time. The long waiting time is really bad for patient.

I started seeing Dr Chua when I moved to the neighbourhood 1 year ago. Whilst there is constantly a long queue to see Dr Chua, he provides each and every patient with the best consultation experience. During every consult, he provides detailed explanation of the illness as well as treatment options. I've never seen Dr Chua in a bad mood or rush to see the next patient regardless of the queue. He ensures he provides each patient with the best consult. I strongly recommend Dr Chua (even if that means my waiting time at the clinic will be longer).

The doctor is so young (or look young) but so knowledgeable in explaining symptoms and depths of your health issues. This clinic is always full house. Two kind staff are daily and every time so busy and work non-stop serving patients. It has been my go-to clinic for 2 years. My next favourite clinic is Blk 56 OASIS clinic.

A bit hesitant to write this review because that means it will be harder to make an appointment to visit Dr Chua next time. Haha. I’ve stayed in Bedok my whole life so I’ve visited some, if not most of the clinics around the my neighbourhood. Trust me, Dr Chua is the best doctor ever. You’ll never meet another doctor who is as detailed, caring, and sincere in wanting to help his patients recover/feel better. He is knowledgeable and he accurately diagnoses my problem. Twice, when the clinic was closed and I needed to see a doctor, I went to other clinics. But a few days later, I always find myself back to A1 because the other doctors’ diagnosis didn’t help. His two front desk staff are polite and patient as well. They patiently helped me check my insurance during registration, making sure I don’t have to pay more than I need to. While the waiting time can be quite long, these two ladies were polite to some impatient patients, explaining to them the long waiting time was due to a surge in visits. Truly an A1 team. :)

Dr Chua is a very nice and approachable doctor. He is very professional, really care about the patient well-being and make explanation to me in very clear terms! Indeed 10 out of 5 stars!

Conveniently open till 10 pm daily. Whereby other clinics usually close by 8pm. It was my first time here. Before I came here, I read the online reviews and was surprised to see that this clinic had almost 5 stars reviews! The counter staffs are polite. However I waited quite a while, around 40 mins, before I could see the doctor. The Doctor looks young but experienced. Very knowledgeable, caring, sincere and polite. Now I know why this clinic has highly positive reviews.

Dr Chua is a doctor with a big heart. I am simply amazed by his professionalism, patience, plus willingness to listen and making sure that his patients’ questions are answered. You can tell that he truly cares about his patients. The nurses are very friendly, helpful and accommodating too. Awesome A1 team!
