He is a rare Chinese physician who used to practise as an orthopedic surgeon in China and therefore, able to read X rays. He cured my uncle who was paralyzed from the waist and wheel chair bound after 6 months of acupuncture when western doctors gave up on my uncle. Today, I went to him to seek advice of my 5 year old daughter’s swelling on the ankle. He lightly pressed some areas of the swollen leg and told me that she might have fractured her leg and true enough, she did!!! And he didn’t even bill me! Thank you Dr Zhao with gratefulness!

Went over to Zhao Heqing Tcm Clinic @ Kreta Ayer Road on 11th June afternoon with my wife. The clinic assistant, a middle age woman, was very rude. Screaming and shouting about in the clinic when 1 of the patient let out a single cough (just 1 cough, the patient just had an itch). Forcing the patient to get out of the clinic immediately. Anyone who let out a single cough or a single sneeze will be asked to get out of the clinic immediately rudely. Had a really bad experience. This isn't the way to talk to patients, she do not deserve to work in service line at all.

I visited Dr Zhao during end June 2019 during a time when I was desperate and having a sense of despair as the Western doctors I visited (ENT, A&E etc) couldn’t diagnose why I am constantly feeling dizzy and having a sense of disequilibrium. I was shaking and couldn’t breath at times. I was very sure that the symptoms were a result of my neck pain but none the doctors believed it or can medically prove it. During my initial visit, Dr Zhao was patient and listened tentatively to my symptoms and also went through all the MRI and X-rays reports. He told me I got δΊ€ζ„Ÿη₯žη»εž‹ι’ˆζ€Žη—… and immediately started the treatment to calm my nervous system. I was on an intense treatment schedule where I was given acupuncture, massage and Chinese medicine to relax the muscles around my neck and calm my nervous system. I started to notice improvements after a couple of sessions. He kept encouraging me during these two months, telling me that my illness is not a major one and will recover. I strongly recommend Dr Zhao but to all potential patients, please do give him time to heal you. Your patience will be rewarded. Thank you Dr Zhao!

On 23 Oct 21, I went to see Dr Zhao as I had frozen shoulders (both left and right). He just used his hands to press around my shoulders for 1 to 2 minutes and asked me to use my left hand to touch my right shoulder blade, and vice versa. I was shocked to find that I was able to do so. Prior to that, I could only touch my lower back due to my shoulder pain. Besides frozen shoulders, I was having palpitation and insomnia. After taking the 1st dose of medication, these symptoms were gone by 70%. After the 2nd dose, I was completely symptom-free. I am really impressed.

Honestly first and foremost, a very traumatic experience which I will be listing the reasons out. Whoever going in there please do take note on how this clinic will be treating you when you are entering so go at your own risk. My friend and I came in based on a recommendation saying the doctor is good and professional. 1.Entering the clinic and being treated as if we have offended the receptionist when we are obviously seated at each corner of the sofa, the receptionist came to us and rudely told my friend to put the bag at the centre of the sofa to where to the safe distancing rule which didn’t make sense as we came in here together already. Also, she was very unfriendly when approached. Even as a first time visitor, I felt very turned off by such behaviour and very uneasy about this place. 2.When going through the treatment there were 3 options, pulling of back, acupuncture and then medication. When we told the doctor we wanted to just do the pulling of back first, he kept on suggesting that we should do the acupuncture as well despite my friend saying she was scared of needles. Im not too sure if the doctor understood the pain or worry of the patient but he was very cold towards us when giving a suggestion. 3.We tried to ask / understand what will he being doing during the treatment however, he did not explain much. A doctor that says he doesn’t need to explain what he is going to do to the patient. Especially to a first time visitor who does not have any encounter with TCM. And if we want to know how he is doing it, he wants to charge additional fee of $15. 4.During the stretching of back, the position of the bed was such that the face was not able to reach where the hole was. It was difficult to breathe but the receptionist who is the helper of the doctor and the doctor himself was not able to understand that she was in pain and was not able to breathe. And the doctor simply brush it off by saying every patient is different and we cannot cater to you. And the stretch lasted for only 15mins which costed $20. In the end of the treatment, my friend’s shoulder was tense and felt like her chest was pressed on the wall for 15mins. 5.My friend ask to see the equipment and how it looks like when it is done, however, the clinic had a very strict policy of no photography even if it is to just see and delete the photo after. 6.Initially the doctor was quite nice but after raising these problems after the treatment he became very unfriendly and were treated very rudely even to the point of leaving the clinic. I hope that this experience will not be experienced by anyone else and that they improve their customer service.
