I have always been a fan of aburi-EN but this is my first time visiting this branch, and god am i pleasantly surprised! The food was so good. As someone who visits them at least once a week, I'm pretty familar with their menu options (tried everything at least once) and this time round I've opted for the chicken karage don. The chicken was tender, crispy and extremely fresh, no hints of oil at all. The miso soup was so full of ingredients (clamps, toufu, seaweed) that I couldn't finish it. I wanted to take a picture of it initially but the food was gone before I even realized. It was that good. Best part, the food came fast! The staff are also extremely pleasant and friendly. The chef greeted everyone enthusiatically, the waitress greeted me with a huge smile as she led me to my table. The restaurant atmosphere, as you can imagine was good too. It feels as if I was a part of their family. The price is definitely afordable by town area standards, although it depends on what you order I guess. But as a benchmark, it should be around $12 to $20 per pax for a drink, miso soup, main dish ans maybe a side dish. Overall, awesome. I can't wait to visit again. Good job guys! P.S. please give the head chef (bryan) a raise! Good food, good attitude, good service.

Very delicious and generous Chicken Teriyaki Don. Everything made sense. Add on egg for that luscious-ness. Love it.

Consistent food & service quality at each visit. Wagyu beef was well-done. Pleasantly surprised; am not a ramen fan, not it’s specialty yet was well-done too!

The Cook/ Chef needs to taste his/her food / seasoning sauce before sending it out to the customer. Ordered the following items: - Iberico Hoho Yaki which had sauce that was so salty it had to be chased with my glass of diluted Highball - Sumibi Chicken Yaki was also another item that was over seasoned in salt or MSG that the flavours were totally lost, literally eating salt chunks on dried chicken cubes....next level of umami - Premium Buta Don portion was lovely and the quality of the meat was good....the down side - a waste of good quality meat when it's over charred. Smart move from the chef hidding the charred portion under the more presentable meat. Had a missing onsen egg until the staff was informed about the error. Good presentation of food ?? but needs more QC on the preparation, seasoning and control of meat grilling. If you're gonna charge a premium, put in more effort of not wasting good cuts of meat. It's a sin

It was a 15 minute wait for this set lunch today. Most Japanese joints get 5 stars from me but this one gets just 3 stars. The young waitress was quite rude in telling me not to queue in the front of the line. Why such rudeness to a waiting customer? One would never expect this kind of lacklustre service in Japan or any Japanese restaurant. To me, the set lunch was so so only. There is better value and better treatment of customers from others.

The food is nice. The pork is tender. However, the unagi taste is too strong to our liking. The price is quite high. We ordered Jim Beam. It wasn't very strong. Be sure to be able to drive home after a glass. The peach Jim Beam tasted nicer. Went there on a Saturday evening around 6.30pm. There was no queue. Probably because there were no other shopping malls around hence, quite empty.

I am not a huge fan of Japanese food. However, I tried Aburi - En since the decor is so nice and the food looked good in the pics. I was really impressed with the food and the service! I ordered wagyu beef, eel, pork cheek and foie Gras. The wagyu was super soft and had the perfect ratio of meat to fat while being cooked to perfection. The foie Gras was my first time trying. They use goose liver and It had a light smokey taste with a slight bit of grill taste or charcoal taste and it was soft like a custard slightly sweet. It was actually very nice. No bitter after taste that I was told about. The pork cheeks were very soft and full of flavor. The eel was nice I liked it but I'm not used to the taste. They provided excellent customer service refilled our drinks and helped us a lot. I would happily eat here again. This is quality worth the money.
