Aburi-EN (Isetan Scotts)

We ordered Chicken Naban Don and 3 Kinds Buta Jyu with both extra of acid Onsen Tamago and it waa absolutely delicious! I actually thought the portion will not be enough but it is very filling. I think the price is really worth it especially with fast and efficient service! Highly recommended Japanese cuisine for a family dinner ! ??????

Was really looking forward to liking this place as all their branches seem to have raving reviews. However, I was sorely disappointed. First of all, the service was lacklustre. Didn't seem happy at all to see us standing waiting for a seat, and we were wondering if they were closed for the afternoon because there just wasn't any reaction. My Australian wagyu bowl came quickly but my partner's bowl took another 10 to 15 mins. This is a huge no no. I had to slow down otherwise it would have been finished by the time his food arrived. Next, the food. My Australian wagyu bowl was very tough, not well seasoned, and the sauce on the rice wasn't nice either. The stamina bowl was better as there was more vege and other ingredients. Not sure why My bowl was more expensive even though stamina bowl had A5 wagyu also. And to top it off, the portion was miserable. I'm a 40+kg woman and I was still hungry by the end... and the bowl already cost me $24++. Their menu variety isn't great. A few things were "sold out" Have enjoyed other EN establishments but will not be coming back to aburi en unfortunately.

This is one of the best eating experiences i ever had for Japanese food in Singapore. The ambience is also very customer-friendly with a cool relaxing environment. The food was also served very quickly. Less than 5 minutes after ordering, we got our delicious food. The bright colours of the food were super Instagram-friendly. This is a great place to come when you need a good lunch after a week of hard work.

Ordered 6 bowls, 2 not satisfied, they replaced the beef and was satisfactory. Patience waitress. Online Feedback gets free ice creams ?

Have been to the normal En restaurants and loved their chirashi don. This outlet specialises in aburi so we ordered the 3 type pork and mentai salmon with prawn. Each cost about $20 and are the slightly more expensive items on their menu. Have to say I am not impressed. They only gave 4 pieces of salmon sashimi which isn’t torched and I find one type of the pork a bit tough. Still nice overall. Perhaps my expectations were too high. Service is good and the place looks nicely designed and renovated.

Really fast service! Great place if you want a quick bite. Food could use a bit more flavour though. Edamame is served cold with LOTS of garlic flakes. Don’t order if you don’t like garlic!

Nice location so let’s get that out of the way. I ordered the grilled pork cheek which was delicious but rice was lacking in taste even with the egg mixed in. The salad in the menu looked delicious with huge chunks of avocado but if you look at the actual photo taken, more like diced avocado or small cubes. Salad dressing was non existent. Very disappointing. Hopefully they will Improve on the offerings. If not this place will fade into history book like the Japanese restaurant before it.

Passed by this place on a crowded Sunday afternoon & happy to see empty seats inside (not easy to find a dining place without queue in town!) so we did our usual safe entry and entered the restaurant. Food wise, portion is quite small but taste generally good. Service staffs are attentive, friendly & responsive. Cleared plates super fast! Only thing that affects my decision to give a better rating is the ventilation as well as a small fly that flew around us throughout our dining…
