TLC Learning Centre - 415 Pandan Gardens

I had creative writing tuition here when I was P2-P6, and I enjoyed every single lesson here. Creative writing had always been something I did not really enjoy, but the classes here made me enjoy writing much more than I ever had. Despite the fact that creative writing is usually disliked or scary to most students, the teachers here really engaged the students and encouraged them. Therefore, I feel that this learning centre is definitely one that I would recommend any day.

I can confidently say that i enjoyed the 6 years when i was having tuition at TLC!I would like to say that the teachers are really super patient and kind towards us , students. At first , when i first started , i wasn’t doing so well , but gradually as time pass , my grades were improving ! I feel that the lessons/work given were very effective in making us do well in our exams because it covers the chapter thoroughly and the teachers would give us practice questions to make sure we fully understand the chapter.The teachers were also extremely caring , for example they would ask about how we’re coping in school and stuff. 10/10 i would definitely recommend this tuition centre!!

I have been in this tuition centre for 8 years. The teachers are very patient and kind towards the students. Their own method of teaching was very helpful and effective. The p6 eng writing class had definitely helped me a lot to score my A during my PSLE. Ms Khoo had gave us a lot of notes and tips for writing a good composition and my marks have improved a lot from C to A. The teachers have been teaching for decades hence they are very well experienced and are able to tell us what type of questions are coming out for exam. Under Mr Toh , my amath and emath result have also been scoring a1 and a2.

I joined TLC from p5-p6. I took writing, English and Science. My English and science showed improvement in 1-2 months only however writing took a bit longer. The lessons helped me cope better with school and my test results starting getting better. Compared to school, TLC lessons helped me understand things better. As for English, it helped me explains my vocabulary, I also learnt grammar, and even ways on how to answer comprehensions. For science, the teacher would give notes and explain each topic well. The teacher was ahead of the syllabus too so when it was taught in school, I already had an understanding. For writing, we would learn new phrases and learn ways to write better. Lessons were also very engaging and fun. My writing improved from around 70% to 85%. Even the teachers were really nice. Ms Khoo was a really fun and understanding teacher. She would even have a sticker system where she would give her students gifts. I highly recommend TLC as I showed a lot of improvement

TLC was reccomended to me through my relatives, Mr toh has taught 2 generations of kids in my family. Througout the 6 yrs of being taught by him since 2016 he has really helped me to shine my brightest in school and has helped me grow as an independent and discipline learner. An amiable and fun teacher to have in a classroom, he never fails to create a condusive environment for learning. I recently graduated from sec sch in 2021 as a 6 pointer and i owe it to him for without his guidance i might still be struggling to catch up

I've been taught by Mr Toh by for the past 6 years, from Primary 5 to Secondary 4. Throughout the 6 years, he has been very patient in explaining the math concepts and formulas to me which has allowed me to improve from a C to consistent A1s up until O Levels for Amath and Emath. Lessons are also especially entertaining where he incorporates jokes while explaining the formulas and answers to a question. I strongly recommend joining this tuition centre if you are looking for help in mathematics

Mr Toh is a teacher that is excellent in explaining the concepts in math. Whenever we learn a new topic/ concept, he ensures that everyone fully understands and drills us with plenty of practice. Mr toh’s teaching has helped me greatly elevate my math results from failing my math mid year exams in secondary 2 to getting double A1s for both a- math and e- math. He also makes lessons very entertaining and never fails to make me laugh. 10/10 experience.

Mr Toh's teaching methods were effective and helpful when it comes to understanding and learning about new concepts. Credit has to be given to him, as he has allowed me to score the results I have obtained in my math exams. He is a particularly engaging tutor that helps students stay on track and is able to identify each one of our weaknesses during class.
