★ ★ ★ ★ ★ previously visited soon hin motor for monthly servicing, after they lost my Engine oil and ask me to repurchase i stop visiting them. i started to visit this shop for my monthly servicing . there is a uncle and young man. both are good and alway will advise what to change. just that the uncle do not like to talk much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uncle Hwa's relationship goes a long way back. Even when some of us have outgrown dirtbikes or gone onto the larger tourers, there's always a reason to go down and catch up with him and his son, Reyco.
I personally treasure the friendship and vouch for this hidden gem in Yishun.
P.S. Uncle Hwa is an absolute badass so if he tells you nicely that some things cannot be done or isn't worth it, spend some time to hear him out. There is wisdom in his age. However if you have a huge ego and cannot tolerate being berated, then think twice before you embark on your journey with these amazing father/son duo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time engaging ah hwa's service and I'm genuinely impressed. Brought my recently purchased second hand bike over and the boss (ah hwa I believe) came over, went about my bike before giving a detailed assessment. Boss also physically shows you how he performed the checks (good for new riders). Definitely does not give the impression of making a quick deal or trying to upsell unnecessary fixes. From then, I know my bike (and wallet) is in good hands and hence told boss to fix whatever he deemed necessary. Price was reasonablely quoted.
