Ah Ye Kopi Toast - 18 Yishun Ave 9

Coffee is decent, and the otah toast is delicious. Note that the otah set does not come with eggs, so you got to top up and the meal will become quite pricey. Price point is similar to Ya Kun which is quite a surprise to me given that it’s buried in the heartlands.

Ordered through grab delivery, such a terrible breakfast experience I had to leave a negative comment. Egg mayo was sour! Not sure if it is a trend for sour egg mayo, never have this experience and no way will I risk and order here again.

Saturday tea break hour, but only 1 staff manning the store. The tables are all dirties and not cleared. How does the management allocate resources so poorly? The staff is the poor one having to be cashier and need to prepare food. How will she be able to clean up the tables?

One of the worst customer service that I encountered during my tabao on 27 Jan 2022 at 7.30am. Ordered a cup of Kopi C and my mum pointed out to the small cup to the counter lady that she wants to taobao and the lady highlighted that 5 mins is needed as they need preparation. We stood there until 7.50am and finally the drink was ready but it ended up to be the cup that is used for dine in. I told the lady I wanted to takeaway which my mum told her and even pointed at the disposal cup. Instead or apologising or immediately change it for us, the lady said that additional 20 cents and she even said that we did not mentioned. This is really a display of bad service and for your information is not about the additional 20 cents, this incident showcase how you twist the fact and what a bad customer service you had. Noted to the company, kindly do something.

Visited in the afternoon on 22 June and ordered curry chicken, egg mayo toast and kopi. Food and drinks are above average as usual. Curry is not at its best today but still a cut above average. Egg mayo is too cold which nulify the hotness of the bread. What is unusual is the very good service. The lady at the cashier on this particular Wed afternoon was very patient and polite. We were really pleasantly surprised given our past experiences and from the other reviews.

Sat 11am, Iull period yet queued 15 mins just to take order. Manpower shortage and grouchy cashier. Nevertheless, I love their perfectly timed soft boiled eggs. Curry chicken noodles is also recommended. We were disappointed by the kaya butter toast which the kaya was almost non-existent, hope they can improve on the quality and taste, price is comparable to the big brands out there.

First time trying on weekend breakfast. Crowded. Waited few mins for seat. Customer service so so. Took some time to clean up the table. Many food options for this small stall. Ordered curry mee and bread n egg breakfast set. Curry mee taste good but the egg n bread will lose out some major brands. Portion decent.

Food here is above average in term of taste and quality. The customer service need to improve especially the staff mending the counter. I stand at the counter for around one minute waiting to be serve and the staff is just 2 meter away doing some other stuff. The tone from her is also not friendly while ordering the food and she just don't bother the explain the available items.
