β β β β β Dinner last night was just average. The ramen was springy, which was good, but the Aso was pretty ordinary and the char siu did not taste as if it was made within 1-2 days. My wifeβs sliced pork dish was better, but the pork was a little cold.
We did enjoy the deep fried chicken and gyoza.

β β β β β Attitude wasn't good, after finishing our meal, staff inform us of price change cause of their mess up, price update wasn't reflected in their ipad ordering system. Had to pay 30% more than what was stated in the ordering system. Scammy

β β β β β Still our favourite Ramen shop. Have been here since they started with Tampines Mall, more than 20 years ago.....?. The layout and deco has changed somewhat from the early years here but we still love getting our ramen fix with Ajisen...... We used to have to wait for our orders but it's much better now. Keep up the good work.

β β β β β Came over for dinner on a Sunday night. Not much crowd even though other restaurants were queuing like crazy. Ordered their signature Aso ramen and the 2 mixed Mabo tofu, miso pork belly and Gyoza rice set. Ambience was quite okay, service was prompt and professional. Price point was average. However, there is a large difference in standards between the ramen and the rice set. The Aso ramen was okay, nothing to shout about. But the mixed rice set were terrible. Firstly, the set came with cold tough pork belly and cold tasteless mapo tofu. Probably pre cooked earlier and placed aside till people order received. The only warm food is the rice and soup. The gyoza was a surprise and it's delicious especially compared to the lousy rice set. Overall a disappointing dinner. So only a one star rating for the dropped in standards over the years.

β β β β β Long time favourite of the entire family. The ramen broth is flavorful, thick and beautiful. Portions are generous while prices are mass market. Even with so much more competition in today's market, Ajisen Ramen is still my favorite place for ramen.

β β β β β First time here and it is also my last. Absolute poor service. Very short handed with only 3 service staff for the entire place during peak period. The waiters are inflexible and unable to accommodate simple request like change of table citing fixed seating arrangement (not related to any SMMs) when the place is not even full. Service crew is also very indifferent in attitude.
Food quality is acceptable, typical Aijsen taste. However before the food arrived, the overall dining experience was already unpleasant.
Another unacceptable area to highlight is that the plate that arrived with the side dish was extremely dirty with yellow stain (refer to photo). It was such a turn off. I usually have a certain degree of tolerance towards such issues, but this eatery was unfortunately above my threshold that left a poor dining experience.
