3.9. The Monday night crowd was half-full at 7pm. Was impressed with the variety of food, but I find most items on the menu slightly overpriced. Quality and presentation of food is decent but not superb. We enjoyed the caterpillar roll and I thought the chicken katsu don and teriyaki don was pretty worth it if you're on a budget. Tables are well spaced, great place to have a hearty conversation.

A enjoyable dining experience here! Food was really fresh and delicious?? A staff named Wai was friendly and patiently explained how the member system works , how to collect stamp/spin etc. Will definitely come back again!?

They took a while to sit us although there were many tables available. The set meals we ordered were ok but the handrolls and sushi were a disappointment. The handrolls were only 1/3 filled just so you get an illusion of a handroll because once you pick it up you WILL find that there is NO FILLING at the bottom half of the handrolls. Sushu were kinda tiny for the price we paid for them. The Japanese curry was much too sweet than regular Japanese curry. The Tenzura noodles set and Ishiyaki Kurobuta Kimchi Wazen set were satisfactory and are good value. If we ever go back there, we won't be ordering any handrolls or sushi, that's for sure!

Food standard is poor, we ordered the sushi & sashimi set, sashimi cut is uneven, prawn in the soup is terrible meshy and not fresh. Roast beef is not nice as it's too powdery when chewed. Sort of like eating chicken breast meat. So can give that a miss. The don don wazen set is disappointing too. As, the taste and portion is not as much as it used to be. The seasoning also has changed so the flavor is not there. Much have changed eversince the pandemic started, unfortunately, it is for the worse. Also noticed the chefs are different and not able to produce the Japanese flavors. Service is the saving grace for the staff are friendly, prompt and professional. Ambience is good and seatings are spacious. Sometimes however I can see those small little fruit flies hovering around the sushi counter. Not really good to see that. Overall only a 2 star rating for the dining experience. Hopefully the restaurant standards will improve in my next visit, which will take a while.

The Anpaman kids meal is my children’s favourite, especially they also like Anpanman after going to its museum in Japan before COVID. All other food items are also tasty, like the sushi and sashimi set. Even a regular donburi is good with nice sauce.

There was a short que when we arrived but got a table within a couple of mins. We like the big menu and range of dishes available. Got our main dishes within 5 mins but waited longer for the caterpillar roll. Overall a good experience and would certainly came back again to try the other dishes.

Excellent restaurant for authentic Japanese food. Great selection of sushi and sashimi, with amazing freshness and quality. Coupled with huge menu of Don and Ramen set meals, it's ideal for a group of friends each ordering a set meal and then sharing an assortment of sushi and sashimi. Prices are on the higher side, but you get great quality food.

Visited on friday evening and had to queue, though it was relatively fast. Ordered a few items for sharing and overall all tasted good. Didnt have to wait very long either. The only difficult part was to select what to eat cos their menu had so much variety. What i wished could be better was their desserts selection. If only they had the waffle ice cream. Will still be back again!
