This one is definitely for "anything-mala" fans ? The interesting thing about Alijiang is that they don't serve pork ❌? unlike most Chinese restaurants. Instead they serve mutton✔️ ?✔️?✔️? The food is definitely tasty ? especially so if you are into Mala. As with most Chinese restaurant, the food tend to be slightly salty for the local palette, but not that we are complaining. We had the Cane Pepper Chicken, Lamb Skewer, Fried Roasted Beef, Fried Rice, Organic Cauliflower, Spicy Beef and Yogurt for dessert. Overall, we enjoyed - the food : for the adventurous dinner wanting to experience a fusion of Chinese, Malay, Indian cuisine all rolled into one - ambience and hospitality : the service was prompt, polite and helpful.??? especially so when they found out that we could speak much Mandarin to save our lives!? Make reservations! This place sells out fast.

Overall quite enjoyable 1️⃣ 手抓饭 Rice Pilaf SGD28++ [6/10] a dish that has to be preordered. was supposed to but did not include raisins but did not advise ahead of time. rice was a little overcooked with too much water but overall quite tasty and enjoyable. 2️⃣ 羊肉串 Cumin Lamb Skewers SGD [9/10] aromatic and tender but personally wished it was more charred, more heavily salted, and had more cumin. 3️⃣ Stir-fried Cabbage w 4️⃣

Really enjoyed the food bit this place is relatively pricey. I spent about S$300 excluding alcohol with every dish averaging $30 to $40 each. That said, the food is flavourful and delicious. Highly recommend the various skewers, 手抓饭 (Hand grabbed rice) which is cooked in front of you on the dining floor and the 大盘鸡 (big plate chicken) which comes with hand pulled noodles. Wouldn't really recommend the Peking Duck as the accompanying sauce was lacklustre and the wrap skin was rather too thick and chewy. Would have improved the experience somewhat if the duck was sliced in front of diners but it wasn't. Join their member for 10% off. You need to scan with wechat. Regular QR scanners won't work.

I’m not sure why this place only got 4.1 stars. It’s seriously incredible, right down to the insane camels that grace its front entrance. Service was fast and helpful. You can also order food from Western Mahua, which was just next door), to this restaurant. We ordered way more than the pictures I took showed, and we enjoyed every single bite of food we had. The chicken skewers were cooked to perfection and weren’t dry at all, with a little smokiness to them. The lamb skewers weren’t gamey and were deliciously seasoned, but I do wish they were a little more tender. The beef lamian was lovely and the soup was very clean. We definitely cleared out all the soup among the four of us. The liangpi noodles (pictured) were also very good; chewy and spicy without being too heavy. Even their stir fried cabbage dish (there were bits of fried bread in it too) had plenty of wokhey and was incredibly good. We also ordered fish (pictured), which had an interesting texture and kick to it without being too spicy. To end, we had some bread, or “pancake” (pictured) to supplement the xinjiang spicy pocket bun, which was a delightful sweet/ spice that rounded out our meal nicely. If we had more stomach space or weren’t restricted to 5px a group, I would have ordered far more things. With such an extensive menu featuring a dizzying array of dishes to choose from, it was hard to make a decision. I’ll definitely be back to sample more things that this place has to offer.

Lamb dishes here are so good! We had both the skewered lamb and the stewed lamb, and both were really good. Stewed lamb looks very unassuming but the taste is a surprise. It's tender and just marinated just enough. I actually liked the stewed lamb a little more although the skewered lamb is the bestseller. Also get the 大盘鸡 and the cabbage stir fry as your mainstays.

The dishes here are seriously exquisite and high quality, especially the skewer meats. Do not mistake them for typical Chinese skewers. Unlike other shops, the ones here are extremely tender and comes in thick cuts, so shiok. It is also seasoned to taste and the "originality" of the meat stands out. The other dishes are also very well made! Food aside, there is a strong alijiang ambience, all the way from the camels at the front. Although it was truly expensive, it was a very good experience for occasions. Will be back again

Highlight of the day is their 大盘鸡. It’s very delicious, especially the noodles hidden beneath the chicken and potatoes. I’m not a fan of lamb meat, but their lamb skewers are not bad. The food is on the pricy side, but the environment is good and comfortable.

Restaurant located one floor just above Burger King. The la mien restaurant beside it is owned by the same group so you can sit in this restaurant and order from both menus. Food is generally decent but some of the appetizers could use a bit more seasoning. Noodles are good and the portions are large enough for 2 to share.
