Had a wonderful dental experience at Aloha Dental! Was attended to by Dr Yap and she was extremely friendly, not only that but she was also very detailed in explaining to me the condition of my tooth as well as giving me excellent care tips tailored to my lifestyle. Recommended Aloha Dental to all my friends and family!

My niece had a severe toothache recently and decided to seek treatment from Dr Sufrie Ishak at Aloha. Dr Sufrie listened to my niece's concerns attentively before proceeding with a root canal treatment. His steady hands and good skills made her feel completely at ease as she sat back on the dentist chair and even managed to enjoy a movie throughout the dental procedure. My niece told me that she was surprised that she did not feel any pain in the treatment process. I have been going to Dr Sufrie for my routine dental treatment for the past few years and I have not met another dentist who is more caring than him. Thank you, Dr Sufrie.

Been doing my half yearly check up n cleaning by Dr Sufrie for the past few years and I must say it has been quite a bearable process under Dr Suffie for someone like me who hates going to the dentist.

Had the most comforting experience at a Dental appointment! I was obviously very worried about seeing a dentist, Dr Fred was very patient and explained every single step to me so that I know what to expect. Did not feel any pain and really felt taken care of. It was such a great experience that in the following week I brought my 7 year old daughter for her dental checkup with Dr Yap who was absolutely amaizing and my daughter who fears dentists says she likes her! Amazing Dental team! Highly recommend !

Reasons for 1 star: - A simple orthodontic consult costed an exorbitant amount of almost $400 (way higher than a specialist consult by the way). - In the 1st appointment, Dr Loh (the orthodontist) showed me images of his past work (with patient's face uncensored - not sure if this is allowed under the PDPA act) and said that he always plans very well and all his work are all successful due to his planning. He also started to say younger orthodontists are less experienced and less competent than him. I initially found him because I wanted to seek professional opinion of whether I actually needed jaw surgery, because another orthodontist suggested it. He promised me that my case is not the most complex he has seen, started showing me worse cases he had treated that did not require surgery. He also said that Invisalign would work for me, and there would be no need for surgery. Satisfied, I proceed to the next appointment. - In the second appointment however, he said he noticed that I have a gummy smile that he did not notice before. He started by asking me if I want jaw surgery. I said no, because the last time he promised Invisalign would work and I trusted him. Then he started to let out deep, heavy sighs, as if not keen to proceed, and said my case is actually very complex, and asked me to look for another orthodontist. He also started to scare me by saying that if I were to proceed with Invisalign, he would have to charge me almost $10k and the treatment duration would be 4 years, which is far more expensive and lengthier than any other orthodontist's quotes, and caveated that even Invisalign would not 100% promise results. He also asked me to seek a third opinion for whether I need jaw surgery. And then he ended off saying that they're not a money making business, if I were to walk away, he'd be perfectly fine with it and would not hard sell me. Guess what, I went to another younger orthodontist and she managed to point out all the issues I have without me actively telling her, at a fraction of his price. Not only did he not spot my issues the first time he saw me, when I politely raised a concern I had, he started passive aggressively saying, "wah, now you mention this. Just now you never." In that moment, I was just thinking, you are the specialist with 30 years of experience, not me. How is it that you need me to point out the issues I have? Shouldn't you be more experienced and adept with patient's issues? What if I don't know what may be a potiental cause of concern? And I'm paying a premium for such a consult? I just wanted to put this out there to inform anyone considering doing orthodontic consult at his clinic. Throw a stone and you can easily find someone better charging a fraction of the price. Sometimes, some orthodontists have unbelievably high rates of success not because they're really that brilliant, but because they reject cases they're not confident to take on. To be fair, the rest of the service staff there were warm and friendly, so if you're doing just general scaling and polishing, it may be alright.

D I had my best dental experience with Dr Yap . She is very kind and patient. I really enjoy treating my teeth at aloha dental coinic.

Thank you Dr Sufrie and the assistant to help me throughout my visit. They are both very empathetic and kind. Dr Sufrie is thorough and meticulous throughout my dental checkup. Being slightly needle phobic, had a LA gum injection that was completely painless. Thank you aloha clinic, I will look after my dental health, and see you again! ?

Amazing Clinic, definitely recommend Dr Loh as he’s very kind and understanding, not to mention knowledgeable and skilled in his craft. The staff are great and overall experience was wonderful throughout getting my braces done and off.
