First time having supper here. Usually have Prata and teh tarik here in the morning. Somehow, the night time teh tarik taste much better than the morning one. Same tea, different hands that make it, that makes a difference. Prata is crispy and the fish curry is lovely! Probably one of the best in Tampines.

I used to patron this place alot as I stay nearby, the food used to be good. Prata was cripy and the curry was thick and flavourful. But over the years, the standard of both the food & services has dropped tremendously. The prata became mediocre, the curry is often watered down and lacks flavour. Orders are often not taken correctly and results in long waiting time for food/drinks. The most disturbing issue I have is that recently, I have been going there either to buy takeaway or to have supper with friends, and they ALWAYS mentioned that there is no goreng items (i.e maggi goreng, nasi goreng, etc), which I find very odd that they serve only prata every single night, when they display/advertise their vast variety of dishes available. Really disappointed with their current level of service.

Ordered plain Prata and Fish curry. Prata was crispy and good. There was no fish piece in the curry, supposedly it was fish gravy and it was tasteless. The bearded guy who took the order was rude, kind of 'If you want, you eat and leave' attitude. This was my first and last visit.

This review is for teh halia only, didn't try the food. Discovered this place when I craved for teh halia after dinner at nearby kopitiam. At first glance, not so attractive with only 2 tables occupied. But decided to try after seeing good overall review on Google, and bcos of lack of options along the same stretch of road. Not disappointed. After we sat down the place quickly became full.

Had pratas for breakfast yesterday. I have tried the kosong and egg prata. Not to my liking though (too little oil in my prata)... if you like healthy pratas, you will love them. The curry gravy is also not to my liking. I ordered mutton curry as i did not like the sourly taste of fish curry. They gave me dhal curry and insisted that they gave me mutton curry ??.. I did not finish my plate of prata. I will never patronise them again. .

Shiity place briyani at $7.50 without egg nor the crispy thing.

Had the bawang prata and kosong mixed with two curry heaven this was recommended by the attentive staff highly recommended price reasonable

My daughter went to A&E on 25th May 2022 after drinking a glass of lychee ice tea from this restaurant. The whole incident was witnessed by all the customers that night. There was a splinter from the Satay Stick that was stuck inside my daughter's throat while she was drinking. Luckily it was stuck in her throat and not some other organs that could cause bigger issues. She went back to look for the boss hoping to let the boss know of the incident so that the staff can be more careful. However, might be the staff didn't want to alert the boss thus she didn't get to see the boss even after 3 attempts. So I hope the boss from Alsalam Blk 801 can contact me so that u will know what had happened. And u might want to change to a long spoon instead of using Satay Stick that can be hazardous. And u have to let ur staff know the importance of food safety in Sgp F&B industry. And to inform u of any important matters and not to take any matters in their own hands which they will not be able to bear the consequences.
