Nice that they are open late compared to some of the other eatery places on the street. Silky dumplings and average soup. Food was prepared quickly.

Food - 2/5 Ordered the wanton noodles and carrot cake. Wasn’t very flavourful; not enough sauce. Carrot cake was decent though. Drinks - 0/5 Even though we ordered coffee, milo, and tea, all of the drinks tasted exactly the same: like water. Service is also insanely slow. Would not recommend.

Came here for a late lunch today. My order was taken by a man who spoke gruffly and behaved like a gangster - he said my dumpling noodles soup would take 10 min which i was ok with but later I guessed why it took 10 minutes... As I sat at an empty table with dirty dishes on it, I noticed all the staff took their own sweet time to do things. Don't get me wrong, none of them were elderly or with mobility issues - they all looked young and fit but moved like time stood still. There were many tables full of dirty dishes but they remained like that for some time. It was moderately crowded but some orders were takeaways. When the staff finally sauntered over to clear and clean the dirty tables, they started clearing dirty tables that were empty rather than those dirty tables that already had new customers sitting (like mine). When I requested a staff to clear and clean my dirty table, she didn't even glance at me but just waved her hand implying to wait. Seems like speed and hygiene are not their priority here. p/s I've worked in F&B before so I know it's not easy but you do need to work fast, be polite and attentive to cleanliness... When my dumpling noodles came, it did look good and ingredients were fresh, but in terms of taste, it's pretty ordinary and nothing to shout about. The dumplings are honestly small - I thought dumplings were supposed to be bigger than wantans? Yet it looked like the size of wantans I ate elsewhere... I've eaten at hawker stalls that serve larger sized dumplings full of meat and shrimp at a lower price and with better service. I don't know what the hype is about but given the poor service, lack of hygiene and mediocre food, I'm not returning and don't recommend this place at all.

Came here since the original at Dunman Food Centre is closed due to renovations, heard that the name β€œangmoh” was bought over so decided to come give this a try, the sauce was severely lacking as it was just one dimensional, honestly had maggi with better seasoning before, maybe you guys can use more shallot oil. The texture of the noodles were good though!

This place may have seen better days, I wouldn’t know. ANG MOH WANTON NOODLES occupies it’s own shophouse and dining area, hence all diners are here just for the noodles and side dishes. Quality of food is definitey not as good as even neighbourhood hawker stalls, but at $4, you do get 5 wontons, generous serving of pork slices, and a very hearty (read: starchy and lye-fill) noodles. You’ll not leave this establishment hungry!

My favorite wanton noodle at Joo Chiat where I was living when 3 Chinese guys were selling on push card. Still the same old taste. Brings back lots of my childhood memories.

My fav noodle place nowadays. The quality of noodle is excellent, with good portion, which is a hard find in many other noodle places (which noodles tend to be soggy n clumpy). And, here you can request to have fried wontons instead (vs the normal boiled wontons).
