store layout is fine, tanks and upkeep of livestock is great. however, male staff at counter was unfriendly. was arrogant when enquiring if all bio media is the same, unwilling to provide further customer service from then on. he also spoke in a condescending manner. despite this visit being very unpleasant, i would still recommend this store as i had very good experience during my previous visits with other staff.

EDIT: Went there again and the fish look better this time! They still seem to be generally well fed and the tanks and betta containers seem cleaner too (using visible waste as a measure). . . . Ever seen a betta living in an infusoria culture? This was a first for me too. This outlet has a good selection of products and a decent selection of plants for beginners. Shrimp look okay with no obvious health issues and are actually kept in pretty good environments! I would definitely come here for products, plants and shrimp but not for fish. Quite a few of the tanks had dead fish in them (some multiple dead ones) but when dealing with livestock and attending to customers all day I understand that there'll be some dead fish lying around here and there. What I do think can be improved is: - Feeding the fish appropriately sized pellets. There's leftover large pellets (about 3mm) in the tanks of fish that clearly can't eat pellets that size?? But it is good to see that their fishes are well fed, which is more than can be said for their Punggol outlet where if you see fat healthy fish you can bet that they'll lose that good weight within 2 weeks of being there. - Change betta water more often. If they are already changing water for the bettas once a week, it's clearly not enough. Their newer bettas are still alert but the ones that have been there for awhile aren't anymore. I only gave 3 stars because their staff is friendly and helpful and I can see their effort to make the tanks more comfortable for some of the fish (adding plants, caves) which is fantastic! Staff is great but management needs to step up their game.

I n my husband went there bought shrimps. The male staff very good, kind, friendly n professional. He give us alot of ideas n teach us how to take care our shrimps.

They have beautiful prawns and prices are quite reasonable. Angie's fish are beautiful too. Hope to see they have more options to fish lovers.

Newly Opened Aquarium Shop at 2nd Level of Rivervale Plaza. Prices are reasonable especially for the live fishes. Layout of shop need to be improved. Cashier should always be at the exit door. Convenient for Home Aquarists staying nearby. Don't have to go all the way to Serangoon anymore. ?

High recommended the Vietnamese lady is very friendly and offers very good advice ! As it was my first time buying a fish tank and fishes. Highly recommended for wide variety of fishes and good service !!!

The male staff(presumably owner) was quite friendly and chit chat with me when buying. Prices are also reasonable. In fact some livestocks are slightly cheaper than those famous places like C328

Bought a few times from here. I think the livestock are healthy and price is reasonable. But think the owner (now I know is staff, not owner) is inexperienced. Told me to buy CO2 tablets for my planted and shrimp tank. I used less than recommended dosage and end up same night 7 shrimps dead. Update in reply to owner: Please verify with your staff what he advised. So yes it's unfortunate I followed the advice of an inexperienced staff. Now I know better than to just listen to someone I would presume to be experienced in dishing out advice.
