Hardware is fine but service level and service recovery is rather poor. Staff not well trained. And very unfriendly to those with a car. Possibly the only few service apartments / hotels of 4 stars and above that do not provide complimentary parking. They charged S$ 10 per entry plus to rub salt into injury, they levy a service charge on top of it for handing you the parking pass. Very confusing the find the car park for 1st timer and chances you would have parked at the wrong carpark resulting in much inconvenience and additional parking charges. Wi_FI login is a problem especially with Andriod devices. Night concierge cannot be reached by phone despite repeated calls. When I went to the lobby personally at 12am, he was not at his desk. I asked him for any places to eat at this hour. He conveniently said all shops are closed at this time. Asked him how about MacDonalds. He asked me to do food delivery as he is not aware of any in the surrounds. Guess what, I walked out, and in 200m, right across Orchard was Starbucks, MacDonalds, 7 Eleven plus several other eateries still opened at that hour. Obviously night concierge even did not take the trouble to know basic information about the surrounds or just not want to be helpful even on a simple request like this. Last but not least, there is not even a Desktop anywhere in the public areas for guest to use to do simple tasks and print stuff. I do not know how an establishment meant for business travellers can overlook something as fundamental as this. I was booked for 6 nights. Given that bad experience, I cut it down to 2 nights and moved on to a competitor who provided much better service level.
