The receptionist guy is very rude, one time i ask "can you take a look why my room card is being rejected" he check for it and start talking to me in high voice with angry attitude for no reason. I just need to update my card to the receptionist because i extend my stay for another weeks. And the second time he ask me to close the door when it is not me who opening it. why can't he just talk nicely and act nicely ?

Facilities are not well maintained given that this is a prestigious serviced apartment, right in the heart of Orchard. Saw mold inside room, shrooms at the swimming pool, definitely needs work on cleanliness and general maintenance.

I would say I really wanted to give a 5 star review but certain things really peeved me and I just couldn’t bring myself to. Firstly, I would give 5 stars to Mr Lim Chong Hwee who’s the senior sales manager handling reservations. He was so patient and helpful with answering enquiries even when he was too busy, he answered emails late into the night. Even when he was on medical leave, he answered emails promptly and helped make arrangements. Seriously, 5 stars to Mr Lim! He deserves a raise! Secondly, I would give 5 stars to Mr Jason at the front desk. He’s always so cheerful and friendly. He listens so well to residents and has a great memory too, so he really makes staying at Orchard Parksuites a nice place to return home to. He’s also so helpful with the luggage, bringing them up to the room, to and from the taxi etc. he truly deserves 5 stars and pls definitely give him a raise too!! Mr Jason really made our day good always. Thirdly, I want to give 5 stars to the Chinese (China guy - just to differentiate between types of Chinese - nothing else) housekeeping staff. Apologies but I didn’t catch his name. He came very promptly at the appointed time to clean the apartment. He was very clean and attentive in his housekeeping. (We did experience other housekeepers during our stay who were lacking so we know he was good) He also observed guests very well through his cleaning and anticipated our tissue usage by adding extra boxes so we would not have to call up for additional ones later. That was so attentive of him! He was also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Bumped into him along the property at lifts, laundry room etc, he politely greeted and even held the lift for us. He’s really an asset for your property. Pls give the guy a raise too! Though sadly I don’t know his name but I’m sure you can check who. Last 5 stars I would give to the breakfast ladies. Thank you for making everyone’s morning so cheerful and delightful. They warmly greeted every guest and their friendly attitudes just made it feel like a warm place to be in. They were all so sweet and nice! I think this is one of the “benefits” of covid measures as we had to go collect the breakfast from these lovely ladies everyday and they could send us their warmth & friendliness every morning. Pls also give these lovely “aunties” a raise! The rest on the property like location, size, decor, facilities, I won’t write further as everyone would have their own requirements and preferences. But it’s very convenient, next to orchard MRT, next to shopping malls, food courts, restaurants, supermarket etc nearby. Excellent for our needs. Downsides on the property would be that there’s just too make smokers sitting all around the property smoking all day and night. Well, it’s a public area no doubt but it’s not really pleasing to smell or see day in and out. In addition, there’s always litter left behind by these smokers and even food, so rats do come out at night along these public walkways. Nothing Orchard Parksuites can do about it but just a negative side on the property. Lifts in the building are old, so they can be slower than more modern ones and noisier especially if you live in the main building on the lift shaft side. I suppose if you’re not very noise or time sensitive, it’s fine. Also, the weekend traffic noise can be pretty loud with impatient drivers honking non-stop trying to exit or enter the neighboring malls. So why only 3 stars for this review? Frankly, there’s quite a bit of internal coordination that could have been ironed out amongst the administrators without having to bother the guests. It’s not like it happened once. So it got a bit tiresome. It shouldn’t be this way in an establishment of this sort. It’s not hotel 8-1. Some certain staff were also rather discriminatory in their attitudes at times and it was uncomfortable. They shouldn’t be treating guests this way. We are not naughty school children and this isn’t an institute. Would I stay here again or recommend friends? Truthfully, probably yes if I must.

Can really only justify 2 stars here. We stayed at Orchard Park Suites for 3 months before a permanent departure from Singapore. While the location is unmatched- 5 star- certain aspects of the building could and should be better for the price tag. This is a very old building and it seems the focus is on maintaining the lobby and outside area versus the inside apartments. Our three bedroom apartment was in far more decrepit conditions that then one shown to us when we selected the facility. The kitchen is very old, dirty, and despite cleaning still looks as though it’s from 1990 without an up grade. The refrigerator given was so small it should be more of a wine/beer drink refrigerator than one suitable for the rated apartment size of 6 people. When I asked for this to be switched out they kindly came to the solution to add a larger refrigerator in my living room, as the larger would not fit in the small space of the kitchen. I appreciate this modification but the refrigerator you gave us looked like it had been in a boxing match right in the middle of the living room. It worked so I did not complain. My point- you can do better. Onto the washer dryer- is there any instructional book or directions to use? When I asked the front desk they had nothing for me. I figured it out. It was so loud anyone within a 6 foot radius would need ear protection. After it flooded my kitchen I finally got a new one. Try harder- this was broken before I moved in and I had to ask for repair too many times. Also these washer dryer combo do not dry well. A drying rack as part of the apartment would be appreciated. Sadly I had to buy one for the bargain price of 45 SGD. Kitchen supplies are bear minimum- do not expect a lot from a kitchen knife that looks like it was from a nasty yard sale or a thrift shop for 2 SGD. The beds were about a 2/5 comfort. One bed was so dreadfully lumpy we had to move my son to share with his sister. In general, the front desk staff is polite and greet with a smile. There were certainly a few that had a grumpy face and never picked up their head to greet customers. I was also scolded ( as was another reviewer) for walking my dogs through the lobby. Interestingly, I had been walking them through the lobby for over 6 weeks with no mention this was inappropriate. There is no need to wave me off like a school child. Bathroom is ok but a ridiculous amount of black mold noted. The shower and entire bathroom needs a resurface. As another reviewer noted , the elevators are slow slow slow. The lady who works at the coffee bar is lovely as is the housekeeping staff. Alvin in reservations is also very helpful. I would be hard pressed to recommend this facility to anyone for a long term stay for the price paid. Again- you can do better. The flowers are nice in the lobby but your clients don’t want to look at mold from a lumpy bed.

Great location with just a two-minute walk to the famous Orchard Road, the shopping malls, restaurants, hotels, MRT etc. ... Hospitable and helpful staff overall especially, Jason & Sylvia at the front desk and Urmani of housekeeping. Highly recommended and will be staying there again on my next visit ? ?♦️?

We stayed here for a month in Dec 2021 in the loft apartment. It was a newer apartment and we had a comfortable stay. The best thing about staying here was the location. It's right in the heart of Orchard, next to Ion. Everything within Orchard was within walking distance and the MRT was nearby. The apartment was cleaned daily, an average kitchen and dining area. This is not a big space but okay for the short stay. We liked that they were pet-friendly although you'll need to pay a pet fee. We had our two cats with us. And you can book meeting rooms (which are converted apartment rooms) to work out from in a block (not the day). The process is still rather manual - you'll need to go to the reception and fill out forms. That can be improved and should be paperless. There's 1.5 baths in the loft apartment which was good. King-sized comfortable bed. TVs in the apartment were a little small and sound from the TV was not great. For laundry, you'll need to get tokens from the reception and fill out some forms. The laundry room is in the basement at the carpark. This was a little inconvenient but not that bad if you're there for a short stay. There are a few washers and dryers available. There was always some availability when I was doing laundry over the weekends.
