Dr Soon and his team were amazing.Doesn't push surgery unless you really need it.Explains all your queries patiently!

Amazing surgeon, highly competent, fair, attentionate, really patient focused, rigorous follow-up with the physiotherapist, take true interest in his patients, goes the extra mile and will not push a surgery if he believes there is another non invasive solution. I trusted him for 4 surgeries on my right knee and he resolved it! do not hesitate!

Agree with one of the reviewer below. one of the counter staff is extremely rude. Believe her name is juslin or something like that. Talk to her nicely abt some small mistakes in my insurance claims and she raise her voice at me and continue to talk in nasty tone throughout... like wth... i kept my cool throughout the stressful ordeal dealing with her as i do not want to make a scene at the clinic. No issue with the doctor though. Dr Michael Soon is a great doctor. Friendly, knowledgeable and takes the time to explain to me abt my injury.

Amazing doctor and medical team! Dr Soon is very competent and caring, taking time to explain all your options. On the end of the phone or text to answer your questions in between appointments. Gives clear information and doesn’t pressurise you to take a certain route. Medical team is faultless; surgery was actually an enjoyable experience (!) thanks to the team he works with. The hospital in which he operates is five star. The nurses and admin staff back in the office who walk you through the technicalities and of the procedure are brilliant, especially Jasmine who is AMAZING - she sends you clear instructions at every stage of your treatment and follows up to make sure you’ve understood everything. Her colleagues explain the annoying billing parts very clearly, and really understand your case. Sorry I don’t know all your names but you are truly outstanding! Thank you for making everything simple and efficient. Having spent a bit of time in the waiting room, other patients feel the same. Thanks, Dr Soon!

Extremely dishonest staffs who refused to admit their mistakes, causing me A LOT of trouble when claiming insurance. It was a simple administrative mistake on their end which could be easily rectified, but staffs decided to shirk their responsibility, and doctor even sent a strongly worded email to my insurance company and pushed all the fault to me when I did all my due diligence. Suggest everyone to keep this in mind if they're visiting this clinic and using insurance to pay.

I had a few injuries to my shoulder and knee joints over the years. I was referred to Dr. Michael Soon and I had entrusted him to perform surgeries on my joints all these years. I recommended all my friends to Dr. Soon because he is very skilful, caring and assuring. He never rushes you to make a decision and totally respect your decision. Dr. Soon will present you the pros and cons of your decision. I won’t consider a second opinion from another ortho surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Soon. ???

Amazing and professional team - caring nurses, awesome reception and can’t say enough about the doctor. Dr. Soon is knowledgeable and patient, and genuinely cares about his patients. I had two operations in the same year and had wonderful experiences both times.

I cannot recommend this clinic enough. Went there initially for a second opinion regarding my ACL tear, and ended up going for surgery. Dr Soon has been amazing, showing great empathy, fully understanding my context, properly explaining all options and not pushing anything on me. He constantly made me ask questions so that I really understand everything that is about to happen with my knee, so I can eventually have a better recovery process. He made a very stressful experience become a pleasant one, constantly reassuring me and being extremely humble in the process. Personally, I appreciate a doctor that talks about failure rates much more than one that says “easy procedure, no need to worry” in an overly confident manner. He even personally sent out texts to all my close contacts (including family overseas) after surgery was done to inform them that everything went well. In terms of staff and nurses, they have been wonderful. I’ve seen some reviews here complaining about Jia Lin and other front desk people, but honestly I had a great experience with her and her colleagues. They have been friendly, fairly responsive and definitely eager to help with insurance and other matters. Yes, you will pay the price for all of this, but I guess that’s the same with all private hospitals and clinics in Singapore. I hope I will not need this again, but I would definitely trust Dr Soon and his team for future interventions :)
