My dad was consulted by Dr James for his eye conditions and my dad was happy with his professionalism and service.

My 4yo son was seen by Dr. James. Both Dr. James and his staff members were super nice and patient with my hyper son. My son had to get his pupils dilated. During the waiting process, they helped kept him entertained, making the experience that much easier on us. We highly recommend Dr. James to anyone that wants to bring in their children!

I was referred to Dr.James Ng by an optician in Bedok for suspected retinal detachment. I visited Mt.Elizabeth hospital where Dr.James conducted several tests and confirmed that I had retinal detachment. He was very thorough in his examination. As I suffer with a phobia of hospitals, Dr.James boosted my confidence and convinced me to undergo emergency surgery the same day. Though I had met him only for an hour, I was convinced that I was in safe hands. The surgery was slated for 7 pm and after I checked into the hospital, I was surprised to meet Dr.James in my room once again assuring me of painless and swift surgery. True to his word, he had instructed the anaesthetist to ensure minimum trauma to me. Each and every person attending to my surgery was in cheerful spirits and the next thing I knew I was coming out of the effect of anaesthesia and Dr.James once again cheered me with assuring words. I recovered quickly and was discharged the next morning after Dr.James' post-operative check up. Subsequently, I had routine checkups at his clinic at The Eye Centre. I would highly recommend Dr.James for eye treatment as he is caring, humorous and understanding.

Both of my mum cataract eyes are done operations with Dr. James 4 weeks apart. Both operations went well and follow up was thoroughly checked and advised. Dr. James is very diligent, extremely patient and professional at best on every visits ( pre operation check up, during operations and after operation care). I am quite happy having Dr. James as my mums’ eye specialist. I strongly recommend Dr.James on eyes related issue.
