★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To all sellers out there. I won't encourage and suggest you go through this dealer for consignment.
To share my incident. I was keen with one of his consignment car. However when i told him i got no intention to take up any loan, he told me i would need to top up additional $2k on the agreed price as his comm% which is fine.
Out of coincidence, one of my friend happen to know the owner of this car and linked me up direct. Me and the owner agreed on the price and covered this dealer with his $2k comm%.
Long story short. To my surprise, he told me that's not the case. On top of that, he wants another $2k out of my own pocket. In total $4k.
Judge it for yourself if this would be the kind of dealer you want to consign your car to.
