Went to the shop on a quiet Friday afternoon. I was asked if I had anything in mind to purchase. I replied that I was here to browse. The staff/owner immediately quipped that I should come another time as other customers were waiting to come in. I took a glance outside and saw that it was empty. It appears that the store would rather have no customers than people who browse. To each his own I suppose.

B Spokes is my go to place for my Bromptons although I stay in the West. Special mention goes to Henry who has always been kind to assist me on my queries and to give valuable feedback and suggestions on how to improve my rides. Turnaround time is fast and workmanship is impeccable. Highly recommended!

Pros: Well stocked with mid and higher end accessories. They are also the distributor of Joseph Kuosac which is quality + affordability. Nice small shop with a workshop, accessories and bike area. I loved watching the uncle working on the bikes. He was there before open time and seemed fixated on the bikes. I would surely entrust my bike to him. Cons: The shop is cold, not because of the aircon but the staff members. It is understandable given the huge demand and workload, as they have tried to explain in the reviews (masks hiding smiles or too much online inquiries hindering their physical presence). However I rarely get that cold feeling in other shops. With a bazillion amount of business, they might be more biased to serve clients with better potential. That's why the reviews here are very divided, some had a truly great time, while some were sidelined completely. They would not talk more than answering exactly your questions, which new bike owners might felt discouraging. This review (written with a heavy heart) or my decision to bring my business to other shops in the future won't put a dent in their coffer, but I hope they would be more welcoming to new owners. Tips: review pricing beforehand as the shop doesn't have price tags on most items. Better yet, review the parts you need (very very hard since they are quite busy to go in-depth for you), check their stock, buy it, leave quickly. Edit after the response from the shop owner: I'm glad you are reading the feedback. I hope to revisit someday as I think you have a lovely shop and I do resonate with the pressure you are having (I talked to the owners of other shops about that). Since you said you are not sure about the level of attention needed, I gave it another thought and I think these are the easiest things to do that were missing: - Greetings: I visited twice and nobody said hello or asked "how can I help" right away. If you are busy you could also let the customers know you would be back. - After answering about price, say 1 good thing about the part, or your thoughts and recommendation eg. other similar parts that could be considered. Normally it would be better if you ask more to get to know the customer's need, but since you are so busy, just one sentence is enough. Example: we help install it here; you can consider model X too; this helps with what... - Quickly read thru the order and help the customer reconfirm the parts and/or the service items. - Say "anything else I can help?" after the convo.

Great service by Lawrence and team, as busy as they are, they fulfilled my requests bang on their promised time. All noob queries were answered professionally and they even advised me not to change some stuffs that I thought were necessary! U might get cheaper prices online, but u won’t get their service and mech’s professionalism which I feel is worth much more than that few bucks. THANK YOU TEAM B.SPOKES. ??????

Helpful and honest staff. Accessory that I got turned out to be faulty and they replaced it with a similar item free of charge. One of the staff seemed quite obsessed with poking his phone during my previous visit and treated me as invisible, but the mechanic and other staff are stellar. Got my B from B-Spokes some years ago and will return again if staff continue to provide good service. At least they don't have an arrogant attitude like one of their nearby competitors. Lol.

Every foldie owner's dream place to shop. I love coming here to check out the accessories and bags for my Brompton. Especially the Ti-Parts stuff (they are an authorised distributor), so yymmilicious. The best part is, they make it a point to recommend products that suit your needs, never hard sell. Mechanic Benny is very capable and friendly. Just like every good bike shop, they get very busy on weekends, but even so I always feel welcomed here.

Thanks B-spokes team for the hospitality. Special thanks to Benny who patiently guided me to operate the Brompton bike. Highly recommended as they give me honest advices for bike accessories, I will definitely patronising in near future. Thanks again B-spokes, feel great to be a Brompton fan!
