โ โ โ โ โ HORRIBLE experience there.
Walked in around 1pm, my friend and I ordered a cup of drink each. One of the staff came to us at 2.50pm and straight up asked if we think ordering one cup of coffee and sitting for 4-5hrs is appropriate? After telling her we are actually planning to get cakes and more drinks (my friend went to the cake shelf to take a look already), she questioned us how many slices of cake are we ordering and said she doesn't think sitting 4-5 hrs in a cafe with only ordering one cup of drink is appropriate, and there are more customers walking in - they need seats.
First of all, we were not informed that there was a limited sitting duration when we walked in. Secondly, we were there for an hour plus, not 4-5 hrs as she mentioned. That was purely rude.
We left immediately and would never go back again.

โ โ โ โ โ My go-to place for lunch. Love the set lunch which consists of a generous helping of salad (and it is not just lettuce and baby tomatoes!), a slice of quiche or a small pie and a hot beverage. You can choose pasta instead of salad.
Sometimes, I am here with my colleagues (Australian, Ukrainian, Scottish) and they love both the food and the coffee too.
I had tried the bagels (they stock them in our supermarkets too) and these are seriously good.
Never tried the cakes except for the lamingtons which my Aussie colleague bought back to the office and she approved of them.
Entry is from the street, not from inside Bugis.

โ โ โ โ โ A very quiet pleasant place to rest one's tired legs over a lovely cup of coffee and a pastry. I asked if I could have a glass of hot water and it was brought to me with a smile.

โ โ โ โ โ Came here for coffee and cakes. The place isnโt very big but cosy. When I asked for the wifi password the staff told me that they do not encourage use of laptop during weekends. Which is fine for me cos I didnโt use it for long. Cakes and drinks are very nice.
