Bangkok Jam @ Plaza Singapura - 68 Orchard Rd

8 of us came for a birthday dinner today, we ordered the food and everything came on time, the food itself is good. They took a really long time to split the bill and all of it had to be done in front of a counter near the entrance. Since the ordering is done online through phones, most of us closed the tabs in the browser so we didn’t have the numbers of our orders. We payed for our orders and went out of the mall, and then the restaurant manager ran after us saying that we didn’t pay for our order. We went up again and stood there for around 20 minutes, 8 people, in the middle of a packed restaurant, waiting for them to sort this out. Turns out everything was fine and we just wasted 30 minutes on just paying for the order. All we got from the restaurant is just an apology. You guys have a terrible system for paying for the orders, would be great if i could pay directly on your website. And all of this on my friend’s birthday. The service has to improve. I am really disappointed, especially with the price level of this restaurant. You just lost 8 customers.

Had the fried rice and the pandan chicken. Fried rice was alright moist but nice. Meat in Pandan chicken was really small. Overall the food was expensive for the quality and quantity. You can get better value elsewhere

Comfortable place, not crowded and liked the Service there. My husband and I enjoyed the platter(except the mid wings were tiny and too skinny), beef noodles and hot mint lichee tea. Was attracted by the look of guava sour plum dessert but the taste was too salty to us although the waiter was kind enough to add an additional scoop of ice cream hoping to be able to balance the taste but we just couldn’t continue with it. Will go back to try other dishes but will never order that dessert again.

Food is amazing! I love the atmosphere there and most importantly the manager and staffs are very friendly and pleasant. Despite arriving pretty late to the restaurant for dinner (as I was caught up with errands), the duty manager Aika Warmly welcomed me. She even recommended me to what probably is the best beef noodles that I have ever eaten. The soup broth is very sweet and flavorful! The desserts taste even better than they look (they are really pretty). I would love to bring my family to plaza sing’s Bangkok Jam the next round. Truly a place for any gatherings. Thumbs up to the service staffs and the kitchen. Good job ?

Great food. Wide variety. Service was fast considering during lunch crowd on a weekday. Best to make a prior reservation. One note tho, waiter service rather abrupt upon approaching table to clear dishes. So any private conversation best left till waiter done

Fairly decent Thai food with great vibes. The fish here is pretty good and looks awesome. Otherwise, the food really isn't too bad and it's a nice open place within the mall. Staff is friendly and helpful, willing to help customize orders if you want your food or drinks done a certain way. A very pleasant experience, though of course, pricier than most other Thai food that you can get in small shops. The service and environment makes up for it

I like their coconut chicken mushroom soup. It was very nice and I ordered the second helpings! This “apple, rose, mint” tea, has a nice flavour. Service skill is quite good as well. Just made me disappointed was no more pancakes! They said, they stop making the pancakes…

We enjoyed everything we ordered! Food are tasty and well presented. Restaurant was not crowded on Sunday late afternoon to evening. Staff was attentive and polite. My husband has crustacean allergies so we requested for alternatives and staff recommended fish Tom Yang soup and chicken pineapple fried rice, rather than their usual seafood option. Special shout-out to staff Ratree for being so sweet and thoughtful.?
