Bar Square - 5 Fraser St

1 of my fave place for a great sunset over the city view. Great quality drinks & food & the kitchen party deal!

We end up here because they mix up our reservation for mr stork and got directed here. The food are so so but at least it’s not very expensive. $18 for club sandwich and $28 for pizza. View is not bad and you get to seat at comfortable seating especially the sofa seats. Good to laze around. Well service is generally good except 1 junior waiter (w long center parting hair). He keep asking tables to clear the drinks and food when it’s still like 50-75% left. He ask my friend if he can clear the glasses when my friend barely drank her Prosecco. The weird thing is he didn’t ask me when I had finished mine. The same thing happen again at next table when he ask to clear half eaten pizza and the customers were stunned. I understand that if you Wan to clear the table for next seating (though I didn’t see anyone in the queue) but you should explain and not just ask to clear half eaten food.

Cocktails were local and Asian inspired. I would want to come back to try other cocktails.

Had a wonderful date at Bar Square on.a Saturday night. A customized margarita was specially ordered by my date, knowing that I do not like sweet drinks. This cocktail consisting of tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice, served with salt on the rim of the glass, was perfectly mixed for me, not too sweet. It was served in an exquisite cocktail glass, perfect for this drink, with elaborate classy decorations on the stem of the crystal glass. Enjoyed the evening although we had to be seated at the bar since the tables were all taken as we did not have a reservation. It was truly a magical place with an awesome view of the whole city. A magical place for romantic night out. A magical date for me. This bar will always have a special place in my heart.

Very comfortable space with great menu of cocktails - definitely hard to choose one! staff are very professional helpful and courteous. A really great view of the city and nice experience

Love its mushroom risotto. It is creamy and fragrant with strong truffle and mushroom flavour. Linguine was above average although i feel the taste can be enhanced with a hint of spiciness and slightly more seasoning. Pleased with the generous amount of prawns.

Lovely evening cocktail? with pretty view of the city skyline. Had Teh Tarik and Milo Dinasour cocktail from their specialty cocktail menu and it’s all delicious! ? Thanks to bartender Zack for the yummy cocktail and to Idrus for your great attentive service.
