Dr Barrie Tan is an excellent and Friendly ENT Doctor. He has helped me to discover my Nasopharyngeal Cancer when i was having Ear-Ringing Symptoms which fortunately was still in treatable stage. Dr Barrie has performed detail investigation and analysis and has referred to me to Two highly experienced Oncologist for the Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy treament. I have now already completed my cancer treatment and has since already recovered. Dr Barrie still looking after me by performing regular check-up and follow up. Many Thanks to Dr Barrie Tan who has taken care of me even after my treatment completed. Would like to advise people to have the regular check-up to ENT Doctor as this NPC Cancer is difficult to detect as it will not show any symptoms until it is in the late stage. Fortunately, Dr Barrie Tan is very famililar with this NPC Cancer and He is able to diagnose this Cancer even if it is still at early stage. Dr Barrie and his team are very friendly and professional. Dr Barrie explained to me in layman terms what was causing my sleep apnea and what each surgery would do to improve my condition. I visited Dr Barrie Tan for a second opinion regarding my chronic tonsilitis condition & whether a surgery was necessary. The experience with the previous doctor was not pleasant as i found out after consulting Dr Barrie Tan that some information provided by the previous Doctor was exaggerated, at one point i was given the impression i might have nose cancer! Also, Dr Barrie Tan's clinic was very ethical as they helped me realised that the previous clinic actually counted the surgery fee twice. (According to surgical costing table, removal of both tonsilities and adenoid is charged as 1 surgery, not 2) I finally decided to take the surgery with Dr Barrie Tan and now that i have recovered, I can say it's the right decision. Dr Barrie Tan is very patient, reassuring, empathetic and clear in his explanation. He is also supported by a wonderful team of nurse and staff, especially Nurse Jenna who was my main point of liaison! During my stay in the hospital, Nurse Jenna visited me multiple times just to ensure I was fine and well taken care of! Besides nurse Jenna, all the other nurses and staff I have interacted with are super friendly and helpful in sorting out the insurance matters and appointment bookings! Setting excellent standard for medical services! I am truly grateful and thankful to the Dr Barrie Tan and all nurses & staff at the clinic for their meticulous care and help to ensure my smooth recovery!!!

Dr Barrie is one of the most poised doctor i've ever met. His graceful delivery of diagnosis, treatment options gave me the assurance that I was in good hands. Indeed i was. Dr Barrie's surgical skills is commendable as well - he helped me remove a neck growth. The suture site healed really well and the incision site is barely visible. An extremely professional, skillful and elegant doctor. His team of nurses support him really well too. I left the clinic, after my final doc's review, feeling blessed that i made the decision to seek Dr Barrie's help 3 months ago. Am as good as new!

Dr Barrie is very patient, friendly and professional throughout from pre to post surgery consultation. He was able to explain my mum’s condition in layman terms that were easy to understand and that was very useful as it helped to allay our fears and concerns involving the surgery. My wife went to Dr Barrie for two issues on separate occasions - vertigo and tinnitus. He was very gentle and reassuring, which calmed her nerves. He was also very targeted in his diagnosis and treatment plan - nothing unnecessary was requested. The tinnitus issue turned out to be related to covid, which led to mild hearing loss. With his expert advice to proceed swiftly with treatment, my wife fully recovered after two weeks. Dr Barrie’s clinic assistants were also very helpful, caring and encouraging. It was a great experience throughout!
