β β β β β 30 Mar 2019 - trying the limited edition flavours for March - Azuki Matcha & Sakura cream puffs.
Love the slightly intense Matcha flavour but couldn't taste much of the azuki. The Sakura flavour was quite light and the texture was like that of bean paste (η»Ώθ±ζ³₯). Tasty but not impressive.
Asked staff to make sure there was sufficient filling in the puffs as previously I had gotten puffs with very little filling. The Sakura cream puff was nicely filled but for the Azuki Matcha one, some parts had very little filling compared to the amount of choux puff.
Staff also wasn't familiar with J passport promotion process - and left it to me to just do everything on my phone.

β β β β β Beard Papa definitely has one of the best cream puffs in town, if not the absolute best. It is my go-to for cream puffs. My personal favorite is the original puff with the vanilla custard (if I remember correctly it's called the Custard Pie on the menu). Now they also carry more fanciful puffs such as the cookie crust and the glazed crust ones.

β β β β β I was introduced to these custard cream puffs when traveling in japan. It was love at first bite! So when I heard that they have a couple of locations in Singapore, hubby and I decided to check it out. I was a bit disappointed as I felt the custard and the puff were not as fresh as the ones I had in Japan. The locations I had been to in Japan has a quick turn around time due to the large number of customers. This location was not as busy which might explain the lack of freshness.

β β β β β They are doing some magic on their products that makes me so addictive to it! Their custard puff is the best paired with a bottle of soda. My parents loves the custard puff too. I am always making sure that I but a dozen here for our weekend movie marathon.

β β β β β A very yummy chewy custard puff with fillings of your own choice.Really melts in your mouth.Nice texture and semi sweet flavours make you so addictive into it.Although abit pricey but its worth it.Staffs is polite and pleasant.My alltime fave custards.

β β β β β The chocolate cream puff was amazing. The chocolate cream wasn't too sweet or cloying. I microwaved it to get oozy sauce instead and it was perfect! Loved the soaked puff.
