★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The croissant was a perfect 10/10! Buttery, rich, crispy thin skin, slightly chewy inside. Goes really well with flat white which was also good.
Was well staffed with friendly waitresses so service was pleasant and prompt. There is always a queue during peak coffee/breakfast timing though so take note.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was brisk and efficient. I got takeaway as their pastries look so good! Tried the Kouign Anan a few years back and it was very good.
Decided to try the apple crumble today. It was neatly packed in a sturdy box. The base of the apple crumble was very very oily. I had to soaked it through multiple layers of kitchen paper. Apples were mushy and lack flavour, just really sweet. Crumbles were nice though but again too sweet even after I scraped off most of the icing sugar. I would say give this a miss and try their other pastries!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their crossiant is still good, not all the food are worth it there but is still a great place to hang out.
Food
Bacon was very dry and tasteless. Somehow I feel is they homemake it. Maybe is because is own locally, so the bacon also do locally. Taste more like crispy ba kwa or burnt meat. Hotdog looks really good but is very different from the usual brunches eatery. It doesn't taste tasty or appetizing at all but portion is big. My nephews look hotdogs and this is the first time they mentioned is not nice.
Their sourdough taste sour and also slightly on the wetter side. Their egg looks the freshest and tastiest. Drinks are good especially the Teh Terik. It only has fresh milk and tea. The sweetener is honey and will serve it by the side. Forget about the sweetener. It taste best in its original taste.
Service
We waited for about 20min for a table of 6 which I think is quite fast. We have to order at the counter and they will serve us the food. We did mentioned the size and type of drinks but 2 came in wrong order. Cashier was busy upselling their shop speciality. Put it on your menus, you keep upselling the queue will be super long. I wanted ice teh terik but become hot. My sister order a reg latter and it came in large. So not sure what happen. It is ok at least is not exactly wrong order.
I think the management really need to look into on how to better serve the customers. I would want to treat it like those popular cafes such as Nassim Hill Bakery Bistro Bar but I not sure are they moving towards that direction or back to kopitiam style. Would love to bring my overseas friends to try our very own local cafe but the standards are not worth the price. Hope we can see improvements in the near future. Support local.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cafe is an hidden gem in the basement. It serves all the signature pastries items from TBB and also serves its own brunch menu.
Tried their sourdough waffle and definitely love it.
The big breakfast is also quite nice as most of the ingredients are fresh. Like the combination of ingredients.
Atmosphere is surprisingly good, the design allows a lot of natural light in the cafe.
Order is at the counter but the food is served to table.
Good for small groups, e.g. catch up with friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall was a great dining experience.
Staff are generous when it comes to good service and welcoming attitude. These add more flavour and enjoyment to the food served.
It’s a local restaurant / baker but it caters to Western palate with a tinge of local flavour. Which is perfect!
I just wish the cashier gave our receipt without requesting for one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited a few outlets and this one's service is by far the worst. After our dinner, we wanted to order some bread to share. We were asked by three(?!?) different counter staff whether we were ordering to dine-in/takeaway, and the final lady that served us had the most unwelcoming attitude. Cashier lady wasn't much better either. Their only saving grace was the young server who offered butter & jam for our bread. Food is good as always but service charge definitely not worth paying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was a bit busy even during mid noon.
We found a table at the corner shared by individual customers, however, the helpful and friendly staff offered us to transfer to another table.
We went there for later lunch so I ordered sourdough waffles from the menu, i was happy with it :)
The pastries at the counter also looked amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pastries here are the reason why we keep coming back. First time that we tried the brunch menu or items on the menu and it didn’t disappoint. The bacon and waffles was really nice, as the waffles were made from sourdough, the sweet and savory tastes complimented well.
The mushroom cheese croissant was heated up for us before serving. And lastly the iced chocolate was full of chocolate flavours.
One thing to note that these dishes are small in portion, but on the expensive side. We ordered lemon tart for takeaway and we could collect it from the counter after our meal.
