★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Chwee kueh was ok, but it was the terrible service that was unacceptable. Dumped chili on the order even after we said no chili (because of a young child eating). We had 3 people eating, including the child, and the owner only agreed to give 2 forks. Refused to give the third, even after begging, and started raising her voice.
Had to rely on another hawker’s generosity for the last fork. Disgraceful behavior, and needless to say I won’t be patronizing this place again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad, a little greasy though.
There's always a queue, but if moves along quickly. They serve on a grease proof paper and give a generous amount of chai po.
I enjoyed it a lot, and would recommend this if you are at the food center.
It is comparable to the one at Tiong Bahru.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ General portions of chye poh (preserved chopped turnips). The Chwee kueh (rice cupcake) is quite big and costs 50 cents each. Eaten with the sambal chilli for extra kick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best chwee kueh that I have ever tasted! It is so soft and jiggly (see video), and size of each piece is very decent too. The caipo is lightly sweet and very finely diced and not overly salty. Very generous with the amount of caipo! Very value for money, considering the quality, size of each piece and amount of caipo. So yummy that I couldn’t stop after the first bite (hence the half eaten food in the photo). Will definitely return to have this again! (Btw, no queue on a Thursday morning at 10am)
