β β β β β Former student here, all round good school, not the best but definitely not the worse, students here are cared for coupled with caring superiors like Ms Abraham who may look intimidating but at heart she has a passion in guiding students to the right path.

β β β β β An excellent all round school with a good balance of work hard and play hard! Caring, patient and cool teachers. As a parent, I've seen my child transform and become a responsible, happy and mature teenager.

β β β β β Former student of this school. Very caring and passionate teachers. There is one teacher whom I am really grateful for, Ms Abraham. She made a great impact in my life, inspired me and helped me be where I am today. On a side note, the sunrise is beautiful. And yes, I used to go to school really early, say around 6am or slightly earlier, so it is still dark. Hence, was able to catch the sunrise.

β β β β β A very good neighborhood school and have many fond memories of the teachers there. There is an active FB page which posts old school photos which brings lots of nostalgic feeling to former students.
A big thank you to Ms Abraham for grooming me to become a better adult in life. She really cares a lot about her students and I think she is a legend and someone we look up to for in life.

β β β β β went to that school for 4 years , hate the culture ,hated how they dealt with issues , teachers are very biased, teacher poked inbetween my breast and even after telling a teacher they did nothing enroll at your own risk 10/10 PTSD and traumatizing experience

β β β β β A fun and nice place to study.
The teachers and staff here are all very caring which I am grateful for. There are certain teachers like Ms Abraham who cares a lot about the welfare of the students, disciplining those who misbehave and break the school rules.
You also have teachers like Ms Wan who places high expectations and hopes on all of her students, ensuring her students to do well.
Lastly, you have friendly teachers like Mr Ken, my Secondary 4 PE teacher who believes in interacting and playing with the students. He is by far my favourite PE teacher although he just joined the BDS family. He plays sport matches with us and he is very friendly and approachable. He also tells us inspiring stories and thoughts of the week before every PE lesson. He is my favourite PE teacher.
Thanks to this family, I graduated in 2018 and was invited to apply for the Poly Foundation Program. Thank you to all the teachers and support BDS Family has given me.

β β β β β 1. Math interest starts here in secondary 2. Achieved 99/100 before
2. Received deanβs list here for 3 times. First time is for coming third place in secondary 1 cohort. Second time is for topping cohort in secondary 3 express mathematics and POA. Third time is for being one of the top students in GCE O Levels. But my o level score is not perfect as many of my Uni peers are better than me. It is much easier for me to achieve deanβs list here compared to Uni where it is harder to get due to intense competition.
2. Many of my close friends from my primary school followed me here into this school since secondary one.
3. School allows DSA. School provides many opportunities for students to explore their strengths through CCAs and platforms for aspiring leaders to hone their leadership skills like peer leaders program. School even allows me to join the choir despite my horrible singing and zero music background.
3. Teachers are nice and caring. In fact I still kept in contact with many of my BDS teachers even in university now after serving NS.
4. Teachers recognize studentsβ hardworks, resilience and kind deeds. Even a small action of helping a school mate in his or her homework, helping him or her to catch up with the school contents, imparting my strength in mathematics to assist my classmates garnered me some recognitions from my teachers. Student leaders are heavily recognized too for their leadership and planning skills. A couple of handicapped students are recognized for their resilience in adapting to the school environment and helping their friends in need. School cares a lot for handicapped students too.
