Delish kolo mee that doesn't hold back on its generous amount of ingredients. Best in sg!

Char siew is below standard and the wanton just taste like turnip and has no biting texture to it. One of the kolo mee i ate.

Fantastic kolo mee with high quality ingredients! char siew has juicy fats and dumplings are packed with prawns meat and crunchy water chestnuts

So Good! The unappealing look of the noodle does not do justice to the dish. It looks like no chilli sauce was added though I ordered with medium spiciness but the spicy kick hits me strongly on first bite. The dumplings are wrap with chestnuts which is a rarity nowadays. Probably the only disappointment was the char siew which was some dry lean meat as I thought it will be served with pork belly given its name.

Taste very different from what I know of Sarawak Kolo Mee but it is good on its own. I especially like the chili spiciness and the ajitama-like eggs.

I had the Kolo Mee takeaway today. The mee is okay, pleasant to eat. It doesn’t have the springy texture that most Kolo Mee have. Overall very tasty to eat. The interesting feature of this Kolo mee is the char siew / bak chor. Very nicely cooked. You can request for a leaner cut of char siew also. I recommend to get the Medium Spicy. It adds a wonderful kick to every bite, it’s not spicy to the point where it’s borderline painful. Just nice. My favourite part of this dish from this stall is that they give unique ingredients like the egg and dumplings which makes this a very fulfilling meal. For $5 (20 cents extra for takeaways) in The Central area , this is a generous portion with unique ingredients. Very worth it. Since I live and work around this area will be back soon!

If you are hoping for an authentic Sarawak kolo mee you would be disappointed. I ordered thinking it’s the kolo mee from Sarawak and I was wrong. It doesn’t come close without the kolo mee lard taste. I asked my cousin from Kuching and he said where got egg and why are the mince pork braised? It tasted more like a wonton noodles served in a small plate with little servings.
