Contrary to the bad reviews, I felt the guy was just a man of few words. He responded to my calls promptly with dirty hands. He delivers the work at reasonable pricing. My tube change was $10. He was obliging to check my other good wheel without further comments.

Horrible place. Went there to get my newly purchased bike assembled. Charged me extra as my bike model came disc brake (which I am still ok for the extra charges). Attitude all the while was bad because I did not buy a new bike from them, rather they only earn on the assembly fees. Finally assembled with one screw on the handlebar brake missing. They claimed that the screw was already missing in the package. (IT WAS ONLY A SCREW AND THEY CANT JUST REPLACE IT! NOT AS IF I AM NOT PAYING). Not sure if this was done on purpose. Really really unhelpful unless you are buying a big purchase from them.

I hope karma befalls on those karens and who gave bad reviews to Uncle Lye services. It sure is one way to spoil one person's rice bowl. I read the bad reviews, but decided to travel two LRT stops by foot with my flat tyre. Not only was i greeted by the other younger chap who was working with Uncle Lye with a pleasant face, Uncle Lye was super jovial to a new customer like me. Look at the photos I snapped; he was assisting the younger staff of Bike Zone to tend to my request. When he saw me taking the photo, i said "i'm gonna post this on your google uncle, can? You kenna sabo alot of bad reviews?" He quipped back and said "we cannot please everyone.... It's all about prices most of the time ☹️" Don't judge a book by its cover(by the reviews in this case) go and experience it yourself.

Believe there is a reason you look at this review page. Believe me always trust the review. I doubt the review and went down. Story. Fixed 2 hind wheels for my kid bicycle. Called for price quote 20 dollar to 50 dollar varies. Wife eager to get it fix, drove down to location. Boss didn't even bother to look at situation, his apprentice came in ask me to pump my bicycle front and back due to no air. To my amaze is i just did recently pump but not fully tension afraid burst. Nonetheless i follow his instructions (Suddenly i feel im worker there too as i kneel down to pump the tyres). ? wheel burst his compressor air outage too much. Boss take a look mention your front burst need to change. I ask ok since broken what do expect ? my son ride a burst tyre ? After all the talking, mention i will come back later to go for my lunch. Ask boss whats the amount. Reply im not the 1 repair please find apprentice, i reply your the boss here, this is your shop you dont know? Boss reply I don't know. Sigh joke, So ask young man, he quote 30 dollar for the job. Having said that I should have check all stuff before leaving. Went back found out Back brake loosen, front tyre not fixed. 30 for the 2 hind wheels. Called the boss reply the tyre we fix already, it's 10 dollar 20 for the support hind wheels. Ask me bring down check. Bro I won't go get scam again. Brother if you repair to earn a living do a proper job. Give customer good thing back, if don't want to repair or no parts just tell the truth! Dont make me paid extra 10 for a nothing. If you working attitude like this, I won't come back. I don't own you anything in your life. (Note I was expecting your scam is 50 dollar when asking the price tag) 1 thing scam no issue big time scam loss reputation. Reviews out ! No business :) Long article worth reading ok cause it's 1 star. Bad services no explanation on what had been done. Break the back brake too. Tyres are same old 1 cause the marking I Recognised. So 10 change tyres ? Joke. Give you drink 1 week Kopi la.

The bad reviews had me worried when I was about to patronise the shop. However, the experience was actually better than good. The owner, Lai, is quite a nice guy. Chatty, friendly and responsive. Price is reasonable and workmanship flawless. I would recommend their service, though some people may disagree :)

Uncle cant stop whistleing, will put a tape to his mouth next time 1.Expensive 2.Bad Service 3.All his part will eventually broke down in a week and have to go back to him (scam) 4.No mask/Safety for customers not up to standard Went there for a few time no issues until today, when i told the uncle to install fix my bike, told me i need to buy a new part, he offer to buy it from him. When i purchase from him the thing was not even brand new it look like it been used and not even working properly.

Do not patronise this shop! Outright scam! No price lists for their services. Dishonest boss and worker. Overcharged $15 for 1minute service just to tighten a loosen screw. Asked for a receipt and the ugly tatt worker shouted “want to pay anot if not I call police”. I Insisted for the receipt nonetheless. Worst bicycle shop!

Charged $20 to change rear brake pads. Refused. Went home, ordered a whole bag of decent quality brake pads online for just $10 and replaced them myself in just a few minutes. Price is one thing but their customer service is just terrible. It's not difficult to make people feel welcomed.
