Was customising my grass jelly bowl to $7 and the lady at the counter said add one more topping can upsize to a bigger bowl. Hence I asked, for the upsize would there be more grass jelly or just the bowl gets bigger. She said depend on the portion you ordered. Since the portion is still the same, I answered can just remain. She annoyingly pressed for the total and didnt even bothered if I made the payment. What an attitude!

Got mine with the glass jelly piled on top with no sight of the other ingredients. I am not saying it was served with less stuff but have the professionalism to prepare your dish to look the way it shows in the menu.

I’ve always enjoyed the desserts from Blackball and have never faced subpar customer service at most of their outlets, however our experience at the Nex outlet was unpleasant, to say the least. Visited the outlet with my father for a quick dessert-stop during our shopping trip. We were (almost turned away) by the most unpleasant, unprofessional and downright rude employee (pretty ironic for her to be a front-facing staff. She was impatient and seemed to be visibly annoyed, matches the description of the other reviews here. We initially gave her the benefit of the doubt thinking she may have been young and inexperienced - the experience became worse. We left the outlet assuming it could have had to do with the fact that we were of a minority race, but after reading the other reviews, it’s clear the issue is with this young employee, who evidently lacks the ability to be in the customer-service line!

A young lady who took my order on 11.6.22 (7:40pm) has really bad attitude, and did not give what I wanted, wrong dessert was given. When I ordered my dessert she doesn’t give any response by just staring at me which idk what’s her problem. Your customer service need improvement tq.

blackball is one of my favourite desserts, but the staff here made the experience bad for me and my family. the female staff at the cashier at 1.45pm on 10 July 2022 had a very mean attitude. all i did was to ask if i could change grass jelly to aiyu for one of the desserts, and told her that aiyu is actually cheaper than grass jelly so there won't be a loss on her side. she could have just told me she was umable to do that, and leave it as that. but instead, she rolled her eyes at me and asked if i had eaten blackball before in a very harsh tone, which made the exchange at the cashier very unpleasant. 4/5 for dessert 2/5 for service

Bad service staff. Seems like my order was annoying her. Took her a while to serve then when I asked for cashless payment she didn’t bothered yo direct me yo the QR code (visually impaired so was having problem locating). After I paid sue seems annoyed too… it was a busy day or ong queue

BB may want to review the 2 female staff at BB Nex branch. Personally, I went to the outlet on 10 July 22 at about 345pm. One young lady served me. I can see that she was busy and I happily waited for her to be ready. When it was time to order, I told her I want 黑白配, which is under the BB favorites on the menu. She look at me with an impatient and bewildered (huh) look, before asking me again what I want, as though she didn’t know that it existed on the menu. I then told her the English name of the dessert and she look at me again with the same (ah Lian) attitude look. I then point to her the dessert on the menu before she understands what I want. Thereafter, I told her I wanted the grass jelly to be warm. She then gave me the side eye impatient look again and told me that it cannot be warm as the bean curd is not warm. I told her that I know that the bean curd is not warm but I want my grass jelly warm. She paused and gave me a snide look again before reluctantly turned over to her colleague to tell her about my orders, and making snide remarks about it in front of me, as though I am not there, and that it is the weirdest thing they have heard. BB has great desserts and I always love their warm grass jelly with bean curd. It is sad that the experience has to be tarnished by such incompetent staff with terrible attitude. I urge BB to look into the training of these 2 young staff. They have lost BB many customers. Look at the bad reviews on google review and you will realize that I’m my experience is not uncommon at that outlet.

Not a value for money place for desserts, each bowl is about $7.5-9 and given the quality not worth. The shop was quite small and have very limited spaces for dine-in. Their bubble tea is better, kind of cheaper than other shops and tastes decent.
