A hard lesson learnt at their outlet at #01-20 at Toa Payoh HDB Hub, Recently, my iPhone couldn't charge (tried it with 2 new cable that I was using for about a week). I tried to change power source - charging with cable using laptop, portable charger and plug but all didn't work. I assumed that my iPhone's port is spoilt. Headed down to the shop and was quoted $60. I didn't think too much into it because by then I was just anxious to get my phone fixed. Well, this anxiousness resulted in me, realising that I didn't even need to pay the $60 to begin with. When I headed home and tried to charge my phone, i realized that both my cables couldn't charge up my phone. At this instance, I realized that it could be that my cables wasn't working - not the iPhone's port. To my dismay, I tried it with a 3rd wire that I found, and my phone was able to charge. I tried using the 2 wires to charge up my AirPods and Ipad and it didn't work too. Definitely faulty cables, and nothing to do with my port. I regret my hasty decision of heading down to the shop, and in all the anxiousness, I didn't even realized that they didn't try to charge up my iPhone to test it out first - whether another cable will charge up my phone. A stupid mistake of mine that I hope everyone can learn. And to the store assistant that ''fixed'' my iPhone's port, thank you :) I looked inside the port with torchlight and realized that the port inside is still very dirty, just like the one I had before.

Bought all my samsung screen protectors here. Staffs were friendly and helpfully. Unfortunately, the recent quality of the protectors were getting lower and expensive. My friend n i bought a normal protector but sensitivity sucks, i can't press a number of keyboard buttons. After that, i chg to a more expensive $25 tempered glass protector but within 4 mths, there's a chip in protector n before long a long crack formed. Chg another one but also chipped within a few mths.......

I bought Brand new inactivated iPhone 12 (few weeks ago) from one of the branches (near Watson) friendly lady, gives me free camera lens protector. and paste a screen protector for 10 dollar (twice because the first one I saw dust she immediately replace to new one!!! wow!). I highly recommend! Price is on par with the market so can't complain.
