To the families who are looking for an EduPsych (I feel you) and are reading this review, I think you can stop scrolling ;-) . . . The pride of my life, my 12 year old boy, needed an updated psych assessment (previous one in 2018 documented mild dyslexia) for his high school 2022 applications ... Was referred to Dr Vivien Yang ... Thank goodness ... Some urgency was involved due to the applications' deadlines ... Dr Vivien Yang and Bloom accommodated us ... Despite the tight timeline, she still managed to go through the multiple steps involved, which included having to get input from third-parties (2 school form teachers) ... She was awfully warm (just a sincerely nice person) to my son, and he was almost instantly comfortable with her, thus allowing her to get to know who my son really was as a person (shyness too often blocks out authenticity) ... She did her very best to try to get my son in the right mood/frame of mind leading up to the assessment (momentary nervousness and boredom can lead to results that aren't adequately reflective) ... The assessment was conducted really warmly (my son kinda enjoyed it) and professionally ... The report thereafter captured comprehensively and articulated clearly what my wife & I had roughly observed since the 2018 report ...
