Blooming Bride

I really appreciate Blooming Bride as they carry gowns in large sizes. I've visited many stores but unable to fit into most of the dresses. A lot of their dresses are from Australian designer which is very modern and comfortable to wear.

I have to say that my partner and I had a very pleasant experience at Blooming Bride. Their staff - Zoey was very friendly and helpful! She listened to the styles I like and showed me so many options. Best part is that they carry a vast range of sizes which is very rare to find. Definitely recommend!

After going to multiple bridal boutiques we finally settled on Blooming Bride for its wide selection of gowns. The gowns are all in very good condition and they constantly bring in new gowns and I was spoilt for choice! everyone at my wedding was singing praises of the gowns I wore. I really like that they carry gowns in bigger sizes! As a uk12, it’s not easy to find gowns that not just fit, but also flatter your figure! Cant take pics of the gowns, but they do allow you to video call your loved ones to show them. Really really love the gown that i rented!

Love that there's only 1 appointment at any one time slot (no need to squeeze and jostle/wait for the changing room). Good selection of dresses, coloured gowns are a bit limited though. In house seamstress working on alterations in the back of the store. Stylist recommended dresses were a miss for me as I personally didn't like certain parts of the dress - not that she didn't do a good job recommending dresses. It's just not my aesthetic. It was great that I could try on however many dresses during my appointment (I think I tried on 8 or 9 dresses) since I was quite quick in deciding if I liked it or not - some I wore on, got zipped up, had a look, then changed to the next dress. Do note that I already roughly know what I am looking for, so if I didn't like anything, I would just not come out of the changing room to view from afar; Also factoring in that I went to the appointment alone, so it was extra quick and no dilly dallying. In store photo taking not allowed, however, you can do a video call during your appointment with your loved ones. Slight discount on rental ($2.4k to $1.8k) if you sign up within a week of your first appointment. I did find a wedding gown that I liked though. However, this was way over my budget so I axed this place from my list of considerations. Date visited: 24th September 2021

Gave my virgin bridal gown fitting experience to BB, they were very helping and more knowledgeable about what fits my body type than I did. It is a small place, but they do have quite a bit of gowns to select from. They do tend to carry bigger sizes so a lot of gowns were quite loose on me. It's definitely a plus that they only entertain one customer at any time so it was a very intimate session, which I appreciated. Each gown looked good when I tried them on even though they didn't properly fit me, but no photography allowed so I can't really look back to refer. Haha. It was overall a good first gown fitting experience. :)

I wanted to buy a pair of shoes from Bella Belle and I went down to the store to try out the sizes. They were very helpful in helping me find the style I wanted and checked some questions I had with Bella Belle on my behalf. After I placed the order of the shoes I wanted, they ordered them immediately and my shoes arrived in time for my fitting ☺️

Kelly was really committed to helping me find the right dress and the perfect fit. I was initially hesitant if I could find the dress for me, but Kelly gave me an abundance of options and reached out to me when there were new dresses which she thought might suit me. She made me feel confident over the months of fitting and I am so glad that I found my prewed and actual day dress with her. The dresses and suits were altered with great timeliness. Thank you Kelly for your professionalism and friendliness every time I went to the bridal studio. ? Highly recommended!
