Super slow ... so many officers, only one counter open

Police report was done quickly and issued to officer investigation

Super slow. 3 people to fix a printer to print a sticker to paste updated address on your ic. Came in 20:02, first person on the line. Left at 21:14

Unbelievably slow especially for Singapore standards. With only 2 people ahead of me I have been waiting 40 minutes because only 1 counter is open. The security check before you can enter the premises also slows down the process quite a bit. Go to some other outlet if you can.

So keen to hang up rather than listening and investigating issue! 40 minutes of public works and 2 phone calls, 20 minutes apart at 2am in the morning. Disturbing the peace is allowed in residential areas in Singapore in the middle of the night! Do they need things to get out of hand before they act?

Call to report about a rowdy group not wearing mask and consuming alcohol. The officer asked me to call 999 without even listening to me!

Called them twice because the neighbours upstairs were stomping around and making such a lot of noise past midnight on both occasions. First was in December of 2019, I made the call around 12.20am and around 1am, a ground of 6 or 7 officers came to my doorstep instead telling me they went to the unit upstairs but they didn’t hear any noise from the outside. They stood outside my apartment, some enjoying the breeze and basically asking me if I tried resolving the issue myself. Seeing it was already 1am, I had to leave for the airport by 3am and these bunch weren’t about to get anything done, I thanked them for even coming and tried to get some rest. The second time I called was on Christmas of 2020 when the same neighbours upstairs sounded like they had a party of some sort and we could hear the stomping and furniture being moved around. An enthusiastic sounding officer answered and took my details and hurriedly told me he’ll communicate this to his resources........and hung up. Surprise, surprise, but I never heard back from them so I can’t tell if they did anything eventually. Never came across such incompetence, but please, don’t take that as a challenge!

Called to report a group of people at void deck, public area talking without mask. Sitting close to each other. Policeman attended gave a lot of excuses. I held up my call. I felt like having to urge to get them to work. :(
